Freshest, best prepared sushi I have enjoyed in quite some time. I go there at least once or twice a week. The service is... wonderful and I like the restaurant even though I don't often get a chance to sit down inside and eat. However when I do...service is prompt and it feels almost like you're in a borough of New York in a fine family sushi restaurant. Familyoriented and casual, but still nicely appointed and it has a "just right" feel about it. They have an amazing sushi chef therenamed Robin. He is my all-time favorite and they have another very talented young man there by the name of Kevin. Just a greatplace all around. Their non-sushi menu is quite good also. Highly recommend it! The food was excellent, but the menu said $15.99 for steak hibachi. I ordered 3 (take out). Was charged $75.00. Didn't notice... until later. Oh well. At least it was good. Read more

Looks like a hole in the wall at a strip mall...but the inside looks so good....and the food is amazing...my first attempt at... sushi; fried jalapeño sushi, salmon sushi, and California roll....wow...I'm a sushi eater now...the grilled salmon entree wasamazing...crab Rangoon OMG so good.....do not let the looks fool you...food is great.... This place went downhill as soon as owners changed hands. 40 minutes for simple appetizers on a slow night. Shrimp tempura comes... with vegetables but not here. Server uses his phone to write orders and pays no attention to the food in the window. The otheremployee handed us menus and we had already ordered 30 minutes before hand. Food is good service is atrocious. I was a serverand these people are totally lost and confused. They had a good employee from the original owner but I can see why she leftshortly after changing hands. It takes a lot for me to post a bad review. Read more

Always a good lunch and great price for the amount of food you get!

The atmosphere was pleasant and clean. They opened the door 5 minutes prior to their official opening time. We were greeted with... a smile and promptly allowed to choose where we would like to sit. The service was very good. The server, Lucy, was lovely,cheerful and helpful. The food was delicious. We got a specialty sushi roll that was quickly deep fried in tempura. It was sosavory, crunchy, spicy and just as good as sushi gets in my opinion. I ordered the combination plate with the filet and shrimp.The filet was so tender I almost didn't have to chew it and everything tasted wonderful. We will definitely be returning to trysome of the other amazing looking entrees and sushi rolls. Read more
