While on vacation my Mom and I got burgers from here. She got the "OMG" platter, which she absolutely loved. I got the Peanut... Butter Bacon Burger, which is what is pictured. There was no bacon on my burger at all. It was simply just peanut butter, beef,and bread. The fries were also cold. We were staying right across the street at the Grande Cayman so there's no reason theyshould've been as cold as they were. The Fries Mushrooms we got were big, and we were pleased with those. We also only waited 15minutes for it to be done, which is definately a reasonable wait time. All in all we'd order from here again, just try somethingdifferent. Read more
Terrible experience after a day of traveling with two small children. We walked over from the hotel after looking up locations... and saw this is supposed to be open until 10:00pm and looked to have good reviews. We arrived at 9:20 on a Saturday and we weretold by the hostess that the manager doesn't want anyone else seated so they could focus on closing up. After sending her toask the manager again we were begrudgingly seated. We ordered the "famous" onion rings, chili cheese fries, some burgers andkids meals. This meal was beyond disappointing. The onion rings were just bad and not worth wasting any more energy thinkingabout. The burgers were nothing special. Kids meals were the standard experience. The "margaritas" were a super lazy mixture ofsprite, sour, and maybe tequila (the attitude of the staff made me doubt if there was more than a light splash). The onlyslightly decent item we received were the chili cheese fries and they were basic, but palatable. The hostess originally deniedus stating they were too busy but when we got seated there were only 3 other tables and they were finishing their food. Great service and unique place. Has tons of character. Cleanly. I got some island burger which had jalepeno and pineapple on it... and it was cooked to perfection and different but super tasty. I would definitely recommend coming for a burger and nice lunchoutting. Read more
Walked here from my hotel this week not wanting to get in my truck to go find food. I have to say, this place was pretty good. ... When I first walked in I was a little unsure, as the hostess did not seem to know if they had bar seating(I believe she was new) She quickly spoke to a server at the bar who brought out the bar stool and got me hooked up with a menu and took my drink orderquickly. I ordered a margarita and it seemed to be a good deal. I chose the blackened mahi and fries and I have to say thatthey were quite good. Sitting at the bar also told me that I definitely need to come back as all of the food coming from thekitchen came out at the bar and everything looked amazing. I will have to try a burger next time and the onion rings looked asbig as your head. Some of the servers were sharing some sort of cheese stick popper things and offered some to me and they wereinsanely good. As an airplane nut, I enjoyed the bit of aviation decorations up by the bar. Next time I'm in the area I willmake it a point to stop here again. Read more
This was my first time dining at River City Cafe and I absolutely loved it. I plan to return every time I go to myrtle beach. We... had cheese poppers for our appetizer which were wonderful. The grilled ham and cheese was the best I've ever had. And the sweetpotato waffle fries were so good. Our waiter, Logan, took very good care of us. I would give them more stars if I could. Read more

This is one of our local favorites when visiting! The hospitality is friendly, casual and relaxed! Their burgers are delicious,... cheese pops (cheese curds) and boneless wings are excellent as well. Family also states their strawberry Margherita is justright!! There is no glass on the premises as this restaurant is also accessible from Sand Dunes water park! Read more
Great burgers!! A favorite appetizer is the fried zucchini. Reasonably priced. Easy-going, comfortable atmosphere. Peanuts in... the shell available at table. We always make sure to go when visiting Myrtle Beach. Read more
