Heard a lot about this place and I was a bit disappointed. I got the seafood platter with a combo of fried fish and shrimp. ... The coconut shrimp were very good but the fried fish was horrible. It was not fried well at all. The batter fell completely offthe fish and the taste was very bland. The picture I posted is deceiving. The moment I picked that fish up the batter cameright off. I grew up in a family of fried fish lovers. We had it every Friday. Not everyone can fry it right and this placefailed at it terribly. ???? My mother was the queen of frying fish. I know she would have sent that fish right back to thekitchen. I rate it a 2 out of 10. It was bad. Service was good and our waitress was very pleasant. Do better with your friedfish. Ehhh, it was okay. We went for happy hour, which I called about before I went then the waitress told me she didn't know anything... about it... minutes later she comes back with a menu and explained that it's basically half the order of apps for half price.Which in my option is not a happy hour, it is in fact Paying for a half order. Anyways we ordered one of everything. I must saythe cheese used in the mozzarella sticks and spicy cheese balls where pretty tasty. The spicy bread and chicken fingers ..plain.. no season or flavor at at, if you get them use the sauce. They used to have e these crab nachos on the menu... and theyare not available any more. I think the food is definitely overpriced being that it doesn't stand out and it's not quality. TheMargarita was a 4 star. Overall I'm going to pass on goi g back here. Read more
Atmosphere was pretty cool compared to other Joe's I have been to, old school crab shack vibe! Food was good, love the crab!... Service was not so great, we had to ask Lexi for silverware, still did not get the right tools to eat our crab, we madedue... Did not refill our drinks, did not ask until after she brought the check. The prices where about 20% higher than mostJoe's I have been to, may have been the location... IDK??? Read more
The staff were very polite and we were seated very quickly on a Saturday afternoon. The manager was so nice and gave my daughter... extra toppings on her sundae. Food tasted great, hoped for a bit more crab legs in the bucket, but left happy. P.s. good strongdrinks, would definitely come back. Read more
While everything was seasoned my sausage was not done, it had to be sent back and one of the potatoes wasn't all the way done... for the steam pot that I had. I feel like I didn't get a whole lot of shrimp and for the price I paid now that I think of it..itwas not worth it. My waitress was amazing though!! My wife tells me that for crabs, this place is very good. In fact, every time we come here she really enjoys it. For someone who... is not a big fan of seafood, this place is average, at best. Great place to hang out and eat some serious seafood. Other options available. Great corn! Husband reports great beer menu.... Plenty of dining areas inside and out. Good place to bring kids. Parking lots with a lot of space but its a bit of a walk to theresteraunt. Worth it though! Read more
