Reviews for IHOP in Myrtle Beach, SC
Place had good food , pancakes were excellent, only real gripe was the side orders of hash browns they just had a wierd taste ,... we sent them back ,she took them off the bill without asking. There 4 In our party , I had the Colorado Omlette , it was cookedperfectly and pretty big , loaded with onions, bacon sausage pulled beef and loaded with cheese was at least 3 eggs. I had the 3pancakes with it and the entire meal was amazing, the only thing I didn?t love the coffee was ok at best .3 of my friends hadthe 2x2x2, 2 scrambled , one over easy , all w pancakes , all 3 were very good , we also ordered the hash browns which we sentback. One friend had an extra short stack of pancakes. Server Jennifer was great and very accommodating. Reasons for 4 starsinstead of 5, hash browns that tasted like they were cooked on top Of something else ?, the coffee was not that great, minorthings to note , They were out of creamer and sugar for the table show the server born out small solo containers ofhalf-and-half and sugar I thought that was strange I have never seen that before. For some reason it always seems when we go outwe?re always missing something on the table. We didn?t have regular syrup on our table and we didn?t have ketchup , all the restdid. There was a container of pecan syrup on our table and no one wanted pecan, The waitress never told us that it was regularsyrup in the wrong container so we had to get up and grab a container of syrup and ketchup from the next table , Woukd go to itagain , the home run was the Colorado omelette w pancakes. Our waitress seemed aloof and we asked her more than once for condiments, syrup, to go plates and drinks, etc. She seemed more... concerned with watching a male coworker. When she told me what came with my combo she didn't mention Hash Browns so it wasn'tuntil l got my order that l realized it did. I am not a fan of Hash Browns and was displeased to see it. When l told her ldidn't know Hash Browns came with the order her response was " Oh, it's ok". I was also disappointed to only see 1 French Toastto come with my order as the menu showed 2. Our daughters crepes were delicious, a bit too sweet but delicious. My Husband'sPhilly Cheesecake and Onion rings were good too. Our son really enjoyed his Belgian Waffle Food overall was fine but be advisedif you order milk for your children be sure to ask for a kids size milk or you'll get a large glass of milk that costs more thana Gallon of milk. The waitress handling the orders in the next booth seemed more personable, aware and engaging. It's thelittle things that make a great visit and although the food was fine the waitress experience took away from it being 5 stars. Read more
Seated in 10 min or less. Food was good. Waitress was attentive. A/C wasn't working very well..95° outside..... Price was... average. Iced tea was $2.99....I think that's high. Read more
First off, seeing the sanitation grade of an A was awesome! Food was good, steak was tender. Waiter (Victor)said he was new, but... his service beyond measure, & exceeded that anyone I've seen that was presumably more seasoned. We never once had to remind himof anything. He remembered & fulfilled our requests from start to finish. He's a keeper... need more like him! Way to goVictor???? Read more

Had a nice brunch date with my partner. We went around down time and or shift change on a Monday. It was peaceful, as we came in... we were greeted and seated. Our server Amanda was a joy, Godly woman and positive. Which made the visit that much better. Shewas easy going and she gave us the ins and outs on what to get on the menu worth getting also quality. Food came out fast and itwas delicious. She came out serving with a smile it meant the world, being that I work in food service of course tipped well. Will always love this location ? Read more
We hadn't been here in years but we decided to eat here with a group of 8 for Mother's Day. Upon walking in we were informed... that there would be a wait because they only had 2 servers. We were all in the mood for breakfast so we decided to stick around. The food was decent and the price was pretty good when ordering from the Happy Hour Menu (3p-9p daily). The only thing thatsaved this review was our server Rohanna. Even being busy and short staffed she was right on point with everything and providedexceptional service with a smile! The score would have been much lower without her. Read more
I hate giving less than perfect reviews, but this particular IHOP just seems to be missing something. The food is usually good.... I don't recall ever being dissatisfied with anything I have ever ordered here. The service is always good. You ask why I amcan't give a 5 star? I always feel that the owner is unwilling to give this place the minor upgrades needed. Last night, whiletrying to use the syrup bottles, the lids were broken off . Looking closely at the tables, they are peeling from underneath. Mytable was kind of bad, and the piece hanging from underneath was rubbing my leg. I think they try to keep the place fairlyclean, but I dare say it's time for a real good scrub down and maybe fresh paint. Corners, bottom of the walls, bottom of bothseats along the floor, etc. Prices are just a tad high. It's hard for me to stop in at a mom and pops breakfast joint and spend6 or 7 bucks on a full breakfast vs pancakes, eggs, and bacon and a drink at 31 bucks for two. In my opinion, this place isalways unusually cool. I always bring a jacket even in the summer what I eat here. I notice a lot of other women do the same.Guys usually seem fine with the temperature. I always wonder at the condition of the kitchen since I feel the eating areas area bit run down. All that to say it hasn't stopped us from eating here. Read more
