I was a little hesitant at first but I was pleasantly surprised. I started off with a Texas Margarita and it wasn't watered... down like I've experienced at other places. The steak and chicken was tender enough that I didn't need a knife. My plate had abunch of large shrimp on it as well. The portion size was large enough that I couldn't eat it all. Service was fast andfriendly. I couldn't ask for a better experience! Read more

This place is very nice! My wife and I enjoyed the chicken nachos for lunch! The menu prices are a little outdated because they... have gone up since. Great atmosphere! Read more

AMAZING, that is the easiest way to explain my recent experience at El Cerro on 29th Ave. I just want to say thank you so much... Yvonne, you and your staff went above and beyond to make my daughter-in-laws surprise 40th birthday party excellent. The servicewe all received was top notch, the food was all served at the same time for 32 people and delicious. We could not have pulledthis off without all of you. Thank you again and we will be to see you all again soon! Read more

I really wanted to give these guys a better rating but I can't. My wife has MS and doesn't walk very well. When we asked the... hostess if a ramp was available she stated "No". No other options were given. After looking around when we finally got seated(rough walk with disabled wife), I noticed electric lifts. Why was that not an option? Those lifts I assume are for disabledpatrons. If not then the restaurant is Non-ADA compliant. Everything else was good just a little lax on service as well. Greatfood though. Read more

Located near Broadway at the Beach, its a good option if lines at restaurants at Broadway at the Beach are long OR if you?re... looking for good Mexican food. The building at one time was another restaurant and then a church so the layout is a bitunconventional which adds to the venue in my opinion. Tables and booths are spread out and on multiple levels. Large bar areaand several cocktails to choose from. I went with the Skinny Margarita (It?s the only one that doesn?t use the preparedmargarita sour mix and it was delicious!) Menu is extensive with tacos, enchiladas, burritos and such. Food is fresh andflavorful. Complimentary chips and salsa provided. I had a Cowboy Chimichanga with a side of rice and beans. The portion waslarge and the food was flavorful. It was listed on the menu to include chicken, corn, black beans, spinach, and tomato. Thecorn, black beans , and tomato was scarce. I would go as far as to saying omitted practically. I would have definitely wantedand expected more of each. Read more

The atmosphere is incredible, the seating was quick, the tables are huge, our waiter was very attentive. Also, the food was... amazing plus very hot & not so pricey. The only thing I didn't like was the Mexican Micheladas but that's okay my boyfriendenjoyed them. We will definitely come back here and recommend to anyone in the area. Read more
