Late Saturday afternoon- saw this place and stopped for dinner— wow! Great customer service from start to finish- even had... the head chef bring out our entrees. I stopped by earlier for dinner and was pleasantly surprised to find what looks like an old English pub style bar waiting for... me. There was an incredible lady at the bar named Rosemary that told me all about the building. When I asked about the calamarishe said they were excellent so I ordered them and a salad. Both were unique, the calamari was the best I have ever had in myentire life. The salad definitely good also and I would happily order it again. We come down to MB every year around this time and this is a must stop restaurant for us. The service is great and the food is... tasty. This is our first time trying the brick oven pizza and we were not disappointed. In addition, we got our pictures takenfor a very special MB post card in the restaurant. Was hit and miss depending on what you ordered, but the grouper was excellent, steaks have good flavor, and loves the all the... different add-ons and sauces. Vegetables a little overcooked/steamed or mushy. Mashed potatoes were heavy on the rosemary andcould use some salt and garlic, but baked potato was excellent. Salads were exceptional and wait staff was really nice. Took alittle longer than expected, but overall would recommend for a night out. Read more
5 of us ate there for our monthly woman’s group social and it was amazing! Kelly was our server and was a 10+ stars server!... The food was amazing! I had the prime rib, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies and the prime rib melted in my mouth! I alsoordered a side house salad and am including a photo awesome presentation! I came here to eat with coworkers because one of them wanted a steak. Everyone ended up ordering a steak except me. I ordered... the shrimp and grits. Everyone enjoyed their food and there were no complaints. The service was exceptional as well. The serverswere very friendly and professional. Visited Carolina Seafood & Steak for the first time on my trip to the area. When I walked in there was a smoky haze in the air... from the barbecuing I presume. It smelled like food in the air, so delicious. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits. It was unexpectedlygood! I have only ever had fried shrimp with my grits befire so this was different, unique and very flavorful with the pimentocheese. The whole dish was so rich and the shrimp tasted so buttery I couldn't even eat them all. This was so good. My serverwas Ms. Rosemary and she was awesome, pleasant and wished me well on my way at the end of my meal. I love the ambiance of thisplace. Clean bathrooms and nice decor.
