My family brought me here on my birthday since we were on a family vacation for Easter and my birthday was on Good Friday.... Absolutely loved it. Super friendly staff and very accommodating (we had 13 of us in a party and all sat together!) We went withit being a holiday we dont eat meat on, they have an amazing seafood buffet (and plenty of other options i would visit onanother day!) My family also told them it was my birthday and they brought me the cutest little cake. Nothing but great food andgreat memories. Highly recommend! Read more

I found it to be a little bit over pricey but I guess if you like crab legs and you can eat all you want. It's a good deal but I... kind of wish I went to a regular sit down and serve restaurants for the price. The design of the place was very nice. Kind ofreminded me of being on a cruise ship with the buffet. The waiter and waitress service there was very good and I found the foodto be okay. They did have a wide variety Read more

I come here every time I come to the beach. They never miss. The crab legs are seasoned so well alone, but even better with the... reddish seasoned butter. I admit I go mainly for the crab legs but everything else I have tried was great as well. They had acinnamon roll cake dessert that was out of this world. Pro tip: go EARLY! Like as soon as the doors open, it gets crowdedextremely fast and that could put a damper on your experience but the food is still worth the wait in my opinion. Read more

My 1st visit to this restaurant. The wait time was 40-50 minutes on A Tuesday @7:08pm. The place is huge and very very busy. My... party had 6 adults and 1 child($392 +$50 tip). There?s a verity of food which was constantly being refreshed. They must have atleast 100 staff members, because there was always someone refreshing our drinks and cleaning off our table. Try the Mac andcheese, mashed potatoes and crab legs. And if you want to get a good buzz, try the Painkiller drink. Nothing butalcohol!!!!!! I gave 4 stars because our hostess was in a bad mood I?m guessing and she just walked away as my daughter in lawwas speaking to her. Read more

This was my first time at the restaurant and let me tell you the service from the greetings to checkout was top notch ????. The... staff is constantly checking on your table to make sure your drinks are refilled, the used plates and the bucket for disposedshells are removed from your table. The food variety is awesome and most of all the restaurant and restrooms are clean. Perfectplace for 2 or a party! There was no wait time and the experience you receive will NOT let you down! Captain George's is the best seafood calabash in all of Myrtle Beach. I live in Charlotte, and I have to make the trip to... Captain George's at least once a year. Their main star is their crab legs, which have great flavor and are very juicy. Anothergreat thing about the buffet is they have a great selection of seafood and meat so you can't go wrong with any option. I lovedtheir Mahi and their raw oysters as well. Their muscles and shellfish options are also delicious. A must visit in Myrtle Beach! Read more

The BEST seafood buffet we?ve been to at Myrtle Beach. We went on a Thursday and Friday night for dinner. The buffet is kept... pretty clean, and there are gloves at each buffet line for you to wear before handling the serving utensils. Fresh food is putout pretty quickly as soon as the trays are empty too, so the wait is never long. There?s a large variety of food: meats, fish, seafood (clams/mussels/crawfish/shrimp), veggies, fried dishes, and a salad bar. There?s also a dessert area, which consists ofmostly cakes, cobblers, puddings, cookies, a self-serve ice cream machine (vanilla and chocolate), and one tray of mixed fruit.I was hoping for more variety with the fruit, but by the time we were done eating we didn?t have too much room fordessert. It?s $47.99 per person for the unlimited buffet (I?m not sure of the children?s pricing), and that includes the crablegs in addition to the large array of food. The crab legs are delicious; we went back a few times and they were hot every time. There?s a separate buffet cart with a server to serve the crab legs, along with a seafood boil option next to it that?sself-serve. The line can get long, but it moves fairly quickly so you don?t have to wait long. The servers were very nice. Theycleared out our plates and the container in the middle of each table where we discarded our crab leg shells. Our drinks werepromptly refilled. Overall the servers were quick and efficient and accommodating. Overall we had a very pleasant experience. We love the variety of food and the unlimited crab legs. I highly recommend coming here! One of my memories when I think of Myrtle Beach is Captain George's. My parents would stop here when I was a child and now as an... adult I got to share the experience with my kids. We arrived early enough on a Friday to get the early bird special . The earlybird took $3 off the price but is was still $44 per person and 23 per child. The outside of the restaurant is gorgeous. My kidslove throwing money into the fountain outside. The inside is equally as stunning. The large Buffet is set up like a ship. Therestaurant was incredibly clean and functions very well despite being very busy. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Most of the food was very good. The crab legs were a bit cool and were hard to crack and the desserts were subpar. Everythingelse though was very hot and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the fried scallops, she crab soup, shrimp, sausage, and salmon. Theonly reason it's not a 5-star review is because of the condition of the crab legs. Other than that it was fantastic! Read more
