We stopped here on a whim, while passing through town for the umpteenth time. Holy cow am I glad we did. We got the last order... of Wisconsin Sushi (ham, cream cheese and pickle deep fried) and were blown away! We also ordered the Local burger, and let mejust say I believe I had the same out of body experience Remy describes in the beginning of Ratatouille. Simply spectacular! All of the ingredients are in perfect balance for an amazing meal. Fried are delicious, I can certainly recommend the fantasticcole slaw too. Great experience. Not busy on a Saturday for lunch. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Sandwiches and burgers... are HUGE. The buffalo wings and apple bbq wings are VERY good. Ordered nachos for the table...ginormous! And so good. Easyto find using your GPS. Read more
Stopped here for the first time tonight when a nearby favorite establishment had a wait. Service here was TOP NOTCH. We were... greeted by numerous staff within moments of entering and got situated at the bar. The drinks were cold & the bartenderattentive - even comping a drink when he got distracted by some needy patrons for too long. The gesture didnt go unnoticed! Excellent food and environment. Got the cheese curds, steak & bacon wedge salad (pic half eaten) and the husband enjoyed histri-tip sandwich w/side salad. Bathrooms are shockingly clean and the entire place has a fresh feeling. This place was Poppin. We got seated right away and got service very quickly. The menu wasn't huge but the food was good! The... tables are very close together and it gets pretty loud. Bathrooms could use an addition, the single person bathroom seems a bitundersized for the establishment. Our waitress was very pleasent and also the cook or something provided table service.Employees had a festive attitude and wished us a happy new year on our way out. The wife and I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with Fries, and each of us had a cocktail. The drinks were fantastic, and... the hot chicken was tender, sweet and spicy. This is a nice local place in Muskego, WI. Good beer, wine and cocktails. We especially love their salads, but they have a... variety of food (unique pizzas, sandwhiches, Friday fish fry). Read more
The service was excellent. One of the best baked cods we have ever had and the fried cod was great as well. Fries were much... better than the patato pancakes... but overall a great Friday Fish Fry. Our server Tasia was fantastic. In this post-covid erawhere good service is getting harder to find, we aren't surprised the Local has some of the best to go with the wonderful foodand (from my wonderful lady) excellent drinks.
