Clean and cute restaurant. The food was ok. Salsa more like a tomato sauce than a flavorful dip. Same for the other dishes we... had, they were ok just bland. Waiters were not very attentive, had to ask for silverware after they brought us our food and if we needed a refill we had to... get their attention and ask for it. Chips have to be ordered as well, they are not complimentary. Read more
We are frequent customers and the last few months, we call to order and they decide to close at random times like 8:42 or only... til 8:00 but if we do get to order they forget food and this time they just flat out didn?t make our food, we called 15 minsbefore they close and they said it was on its way, another 40 mins later we still didn?t have it so we called again? they wantedto give it to us for free ( although to get something for free you have to have it, we still didn?t have it) but said it waswith the driver still and would be here shortly. After yet another 10 mins (we are 2 min drive) we had to call back yet againand they said they would mark our account for free meal next time bc they forgot to make our food. We just started our 12 hourshift and now no dinner. So thank you for doing you job well. I used to think it was a one off situation but there is an issueevery single time we order. Wonderful Mexican restaurant located in downtown Muscatine. We frequent this restaurant and have always enjoyed our food and... received excellent service. Their prices are reasonable and they offer generous portion sizes. The restaurant is well decoratedand clean. "The Guad" is one of Muscatine's nicest places to eat. Read more
