Hoss's was a very middle of the road experience with mostly good traits, but nothing overwhelming. The main entree I decided on... was the 1/2lb burger. It features 2 patties pressed flattop style. While it was plenty juicy and the flavor was good the searwas too long making the outside hard and difficult to chew. This came with battered onion rings which were cooked perfectly. Ichose not to order steak because I felt the price point for the quantity was off and I knew I could get a better cut for lesselsewhere. The salad bar was well stocked, and although the items were located sometimes in non-ideal places, they were freshand good. Unfortunately the overall atmosphere is very tired. The ranch / rustic style is fine, however this one is straightout of the 80s and in desperate need of an update, this includes the bathroom. To be clear, the restaurant was VERY clean andwell maintained, just outdated. Our son loved it here, and if you have children that crave dessert bars and chicken tendersyours will too. Overall if you are in need of large portions and quick but solid service, this could be the place for you.However, if atmosphere and exceedingly good quality are your preference you may want to pass. Had a Great Date Lunch with My Honey! We both had the Soup and Salad Bar with Lemon Water! The Price was RIGHT! $23.50 plus tax!

Absolutely loved this place. Walking in you see a large open concept eating area. We were expecting a steakhouse restaurant but... weren't sure what else beyond that. They offer a GREAT salad and dessert bar. They make it a great day for kids ( the salad baris free for those under 5.... We have two ????.) I ordered a ribeye medium and it was quite rare but it still tasted delicious.My wife had the salmon and was quite satisfied. The kids (older ones) had steak tips and fries and were quite satisfied....Especially when they realized you could get ice cream too ????. It was a delicious and relaxing experience. We got lots of good food for a decent price. We were seated in a booth as we had... asked. The waitress was attentive and very kind. Even after we had finished our main course and decided to linger a bit to chatand relax after so much food. She was gracious and suggested ice cream as a good meal finisher. The bathrooms needed new toiletpaper and paper towels, but we did come just after dinner rush. The utensils at the salad bar were a a little sticky/messy. Inhindsight we should have used the gloves that were offered at the end of each salad station. Overall, we were quite satisfiedand would have no problem going back. Read more

Staff was excellent and attentive, though you could tell they were short staffed. Which is understandable with the current... economy. No complaints on staffing. Also it was very clean, you can tell the staff care. Noticed a few odd things though reasonwhy my rating is low. Like why does a business that you can tell is struggling waste money to re-lable Hienz ketup bottles, andA1 steak sauce bottles just to have thier logo on it but give you plain black and white menus that dont convince you to buy orspend money? Also food was hospital / school food quality. Very bland, no taste and how can a place mess up a philly cheesesteak when they are based in Pennsylvania?! Food not worth the price, and major quality control issues. Salad bar and soup wasgood though. Hoss's has some major business issues, I can see them going out of business due to thier own corporate mistakeshere soon. None of us finished our main entrées. Read more

First trip to Hoss's in 20 years. Service was excellent. Food was delicious, all correct temperatures ordered, very filling.... Tables were clean, stocked, & comfortable. Felt nice being able to eat at a buffet again. Definitely worth the trip. We will beheading back a lot sooner this time. Read more
