Location was a great breakfast location. Has many great items. Pancakes are just good. French toast is just good. But their eggs... and Bacon are cooked just right. I would stop again if in the area. Read more

Absolutely amazing! We came in late morning about 8-9 with a large party of 6 and was seated immediately. Our servers was so... nice and super sweet. The food was incredible and the pancakes were huge! It?s so cute and charming with all the southern decor.Absolutely would recommend for everyone especially those with children. They make the cutest bear head out of pancakes! And theyeven offer gluten free pancake options for people with gluten sensitivities! Read more

Nate was our sever this morning and I want say that he is a kind a d respectful individual. He treated my husband and my... family with respect and courtesy. This type of server is rare and greatly appreciated. It sets the mood for starting yourmorning off right. Thank you so much for that Nate. The food was prepared well, presentation was attractive and delicious. Ilove the Mason jars and cups, a little touch of southern style. The ladies at the hostess desk, nice welcoming, conversationaland thank-you for the recommendation for sea shell Island, we will check that out on our next trip down. Have a blessed dayeveryone. The theme of this restaurant is a lumberjack lodge. Our service was friendly and attentive to our needs; she filled our drinks... before they were empty and kept us happy! The food was good. It wasn?t over the top wonderful but very good. If you wantpancakes, this is a great place to go! Read more

We come to Flapjacks every year on our way out from spring break. Ashley was our waitress today and she was wonderful,... especially with our large party (14 head of us). We didn't have a single mistake with our order, everything came out in a timelymanner, and it was delicious. There are plenty of pancake houses around but this is our favorite. Read more

The restaurant had a nice homey feel. Our waitress Chastity was great. The food was not the best. There was no real flavor and... the temperature was as if it had been sitting out for a while before we got it. It about 30 minutes for us to get our food andabout 10 minutes before we actually got a server over. Read more

A lot of better pancake houses in the Grand Strand. The breakfast chain originated in East Tennessee before venturing out and... opening their first here in South Carolina. Rustic wood faux pas interior with open beamed ceiling, slate fireplace, log cabinchic and padded booths and wood topped tables. It was relatively quiet for a Sunday afternoon and we were promptly seated. General breakfast menu of omelettes, skillets, pancakes and egg platters. We order The Works Omelet with sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, smoked ham and cheese and ?no?onions. A side of hash browns and a special order of Flapjack Fritters. FlapjackFritters was the highlight with warm, fried doughnut holes with melted glaze to dip in. The omelette was filled with a goodamount of ingredients, including onions, and lacked flavor. Replacement omelette came rushed with unmelted cheese on top andnot fully cooked. No side of hash browns with this omelette. Lauren was our server and she did her job with prompting on ourpart. No silverware, no napkins and no drink refills. When we informed her of the onions in the omelette, she seemed perplexedin what to do. No follow up or inquiry of how our meal was, just the check and the reminder to pay up front. And no return onour part. Read more
