What a wonderful, relaxing lunch. Have been looking for an oceanside restaurant with parking, very easy access for the disabled.... Am surprised to see some saying it's overpriced - compared to where I just moved from, it's very reasonable. Was quickly seatedat a rail table with a perfect view of the ocean. Immediately Sarah came to take my drink order, and happily gave foodrecommendations. I decided on the she crab soup and shrimp Po Boy. The soup was fabulous, very thick and full of fresh crab.The Po Boy was much larger than I expected and excellent. As much as I wanted to try dessert, was simply too full. And thesweet tea was strong but not overly sweet, unlike some other restaurants. I hope to visit Conch Cafe every week, definitelyworth the 30 minute drive. Read more
My 11 year old daughter had some friends with us for dinner. Food was great and so was the atmosphere. The waitress was patient... with the kids and everything came out just right. She even saved a card given to my daughter from one of her friends that wasleft behind. We were able to pick it up the next day. She had it set aside for us. Thank you. Read more
The location is great, right by the beach.. the food is tasty. Po'bous are very good, pretty much like the ones in lousianna.... Fried shrimp were also good. Drinks were good. Worth it if you can be on the patio... Read more
We love coming to the Conch Cafe everytime we are in Surfside. The deck seating overlooking the water is beautiful and the food... is fantastic. The Catch of the Day was Grouper. I had it grilled with mashed potatoes and slaw. Two thumbs up. Read more
Conch fritters were very good! The French fries accompany my sandwich were perfect. I asked to be crispy. Unfortunately my... grilled Mahi sandwich was dry and tasteless. Ordered a tito's on the beach drink. It was good. Staff was excellent!Just my 2ndtime here. I'll be back to try more. Read more
Nice water view from a dingy building. Inside it smells of stale food and sour old dirt. The staff is operating like robots,... totally disinterested. They look at customers with dead eyes, it's like being in a horror movie. I was very brave and sampledthe appetizers. The mozzarella sticks and grouper fingers tasted surprisingly good, now I just hope I'm not going to be sick. Read more
It was well worth the 45 minute drive from Longs to enjoy good food by the ocean. The restaurant has great views of the beach... from every seat. I had she-crab soup to start - delicious! My wife enjoyed the made fresh honey mustard dressing on her housesalad. The catch of the day, fresh snapper, was both of our entree choices. I had griiled. Amy had blackened. We of courseshared so we each could try both versions. Both were great but my favorite was the grilled. The dishes were accompanied withrice pilaf and grilled asparagus - also amazing. Dessert was peanut butter pie for her and key lime pie. Both were great choicesto end the meal. Our server, Regan, was great - friendly, accurate and very personable. Read more
