Great place on the marsh walk to stop in for a drink. Live entertainment on some nights. Wish it were a little more roomy, it... can be difficult to find a seat. Read more

Sunday lunch got us once again heading to Murrells Inlet and visiting one of the many eateries lining the Marshwalk. Rustic,... vibrant fish camp shanty with open beamed ceiling, full service bar, fireplace, live music and an open patio facing the Inletand Goat Island. It is really an extended porch of J Peters Grill and Bar next door, as menu and food come from there and namedafter local folk hero Bubba Love. (See the life size statue of him out front.) Selective menu of shareables, soups and salads, sandwiches and seafood, steaks, chicken and ribs. Always a seafood connoisseur when visiting the inlet, I decided on trying outtheir house burger. A thick, hand made patty with all the fresh toppings of lettuce and tomato, pickles, cheese at an added costand a good serving of seasoned fries. Burger was juicy, more than I could eat and reasonable priced. Loved the open concept as asteady breeze and overhead fans kept the air moving and the sights and sounds of the inlet and the live goats on the islandplayed out right in front of you. Food was slow in coming, as you not only contend with fellow patrons on the porch but all thatsit inside. But service was friendly, the day was beautiful and the food commendable. Read more

If you are a fan of the Bubba?s Love Shack of the past, beware!! They only serve off the J Petters Menu. I was super... disappointed that they didn?t have their Bubba?s Menu. My family LOVED coming here because of the relaxing atmosphere andamazing foods that were different. Now, it?s J Peters in the relaxing atmosphere. Which isn?t a bad thing, we just come forBubba?s Love Shack. Read more

stumbled into this place by mistake, and it was a great experience. The food was good, live band was phenomenal, and service was... excellent. I would recommend going on a cooler day since all of the seating is open air, but the fans help to keep itcomfortable. I will 100% be going again next time I?m in the area. Read more

Great experience...nice view of the marsh. The fried flounder sandwich was great. Wife had the ranch fries. They were a bit... understaffed, but our service worked hard to keep us happy. Read more

I have an ESA dog and had planned to dine on the patio (called ahead!) But, I use a scooter and there wasn't a wide enough... access. I was thoroughly bummed as I was on vacation with just her. The staff however said "Hey!! Come inside, bring her in, sitanywhere you'd like! Does she need water"? I had to hold back some tears of gratitude. Their service and hospitality werewonderful. I think the owner even stopped by and asked if everything was ok. And the food!! Fresh, fresh, fresh fish! Music isa little loud, but great decor and awesome view. Read more
