My husband and I just tried the restaurant for the first time. The meal was tremendous!! The experience began with... complimentary French bread. Yummy! We started with the Kansas City style burnt ends which were outstanding!! We shared the 24oz. ribeye which came with onion rings and steamed carrots. All we?re perfectly prepared!!! We finished by sharing a piece ofchocolate thunder!!! We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a delicious meal for the same price as thesurrounding restaurants. What a wonderful spot right in Murrel?s Inlet. We love being able to make a reservation online especially with a little gal in... tow. We ordered the raw oysters and clams which were fresh and delicious. The burnt ends were tender and tasty. We ended upgetting the Chilean Sea Bass special was devine. Had a booth overlooking the water. They are still waiting on their liquorlicense but hopefully will have it within the week. Gregory was great and took wonderful care of us. Don?t walk, run here!! My friend and I had the most amazing dining experience at this restaurant last evening! Raw oyster appetizer (biggest oysters... I?ve ever seen) were fresh and delicious. My prime rib was cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the pork belly and scallopsappetizer and gave me a taste? to die for! We were given the warmest welcome by all of the staff from the hostess, to theserver, to the general manager. Even the executive chef came out of the kitchen to talk to us and make sure that everything wasto our liking! You must check out this newly reopened establishment, you will not be disappointed!!! We had the best service and meal at American Steak and Oyster! This is a great family owned and run restaurant. I had the... meatloaf and mashed potatoes and my husband had the tuna steak and vegetables. Both meals were delicious!!! The tuna steak wasvery fresh. Service from Taylor was awesome! Not our first or last time at American Steak and Oyster. They are doing a greatjob in spite of all the obstacles restaurants face in this pandemic. The restaurant is really nice and the food and staff were great! When you walk in, the vibe and decor tells you that the owners... are proud to be an American business. They give back to the community and charities every time someone comes in to dine, whichis such a great thing that they do!
