My husband and I ate here tonight. We found the restaurant clean and classy. We tried the Salt and Pepper Calamari at the... recommendation of the waitress. It was very good and flavorful! I had the Shrimp and Avocado salad with Ginger dressing and hehad the Orange Chicken. They were both delicious. We found the portions a good size for the price as well. Our waitress wasexcellent! Overall wonderful experience and we will be back! Read more
Had the opportunity to dine here a few days ago, it was a pretty solid choice. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five... was due to the price, it seemed like for lunch it was just a tad high. That?s a matter of perspective and I get that, but thefood was exceptional. The dumplings were some of the best ones that I?ve ever had. They had a great flavor good texture justreally all-around great food. I went with the Thai fried rice and was not disappointed, added some shrimp to it and made it agreat meal. We also had a couple of spinach sushi rolls, that turned out excellent! And then the calamari for the appetizer wasreally good. It was clean service was good, and the building was well-maintained. If you?re looking for a good place to get somegood Thai food, I think this will be where you should check. Read more
We were seated immediately and that?s where the good times ended. Plenty of staff with a moderate crowd while the bar was 75%... full. It took 10 minutes to get our drink order. 70 minutes to get our food. Small portions for the prices, and definitelymissing flavor. The calamari was overcook to the point it was past rubbery. Bathrooms were horrific with seats falling offtoilets, busted soap dispensers, dirty floors, counters and mirrors. The management puts more emphasis on door dash and takeoutto the point it chokes out the dine in customers experience and frustrates their staff. Our waitress told us verbatim that it isaffecting her tips. Very disappointing overall, especially after being talked up by several friends of ours. Read more
Sushi is fantastic as are the entrees. For an app, my go-to is the gyoza. If you like pork, get the crispy pork combo for an... entree. The pork belly and the roast pork are amazing with the sauce they put on it and serve it over a portion of jasmine rice. Read more
We've been eating here since the place opened and have had good experiences on every visit. My new current favorite is the Salt... and Pepper Calamari. If you like it a bit off the beaten path, give this a try. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with any of theThai Fried Rice or curry dishes. Wash it all down with a great big Sapporo for a very happy belly. Read more
We?ve enjoyed dinner at Jasmine Thai twice in the last several months. Both times service was great as was the food. I?m super... picky about sushi but the sushi bar is always clean and the food is prepared well and tastes fresh. For a small townrestaurant, Jasmine has a pretty wide variety of sushi rolls. Last night we had two eel rolls and a sunset roll. Sunset roll istempura shrimp with crab on top. Really good and it?s got more to it than a regular roll so much more filling. The eel roll wasawesome. We ended up getting two. The eel sauce on top is good, not too sweet. We also had a plate of broccoli beef, orangechicken and two sides of fried rice. Everything was yummy. Restaurant is clean, bathroom is clean. Servers are super nice. Kidfriendly dining. Plenty of parking. Read more
The hostess and server were very polite and just the right attentiveness. Not busy at all so it?s easy to over tend, they got it... exactly right. The food however, wuff. The only good thing I can say about the tom kha and tom yum soups is that they wereserved in bowls. The phrase ?like nothing I?ve ever tasted? comes to mind. Red curry was ok, and how the cook managed tocombine under cooked and over cooked rice in the same scoop was actually impressive. And the tofu, well let?s just say when yourun out of Scrub Daddy sponges at home these 1? cubes will do. As for the sushi, what you get at Food Giant is better and halfthe price. $3.50 for each bland slice (not pair) is nuts, the wasabi flavorless with not a hint of even imitation horseradish. The soy sauce was decent, but served in unmarked bottles which was odd. Oddest of all, no noodles or stir fry available. A Thaiplace with no pad thai, go figure. Or rather go Mexican, as I?ll sticking with Senor Lopez back in Cadiz next time. Definitelynot worth the drive. Read more
