The lady's working in here are very rude! We try to give all the shops in town business when up here but for sure we are now... skipping this one. I suggest the company find friendly host for their shop because they will not thrive with this service. Read more

First off: they moved. Right down the street a half block to a tasting room that is a little hidden, but has a lovely tiny park... / lawn in front to share a glass or two. The are, compared to the rest of Murphys, one of the few "bargain" brands. Howeverthey will surprise you. My first taste (after spending $30 up the street) was "$10 for this?" and instant buyers regret. So,stop here, get a gauge on taste / value, then travel around a bit. You'll likely come back for a case of wine. Read more

Worth a visit if you have a day in Murphys. The name captures their philosophy pretty well. Most wines are more in the economy... bucket, decent quality but not particularly inspired or special. The Lily Pad white is an interesting blend of Marsanne,Rousanne and Gewurztraminer. For $10 certainly worth getting a few. Competes well with many basic Chardonnays. They claim theymake bold Zins. We tasted two. Pretty well made and at $20 worth getting one, but they were both not that bold and certainlynothing to remember and build a reputation on. The tasting room is eclectic. The staff is friendly. Read more
