HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! from Jerry(or at least thats what he told me his name was since lack of name tag). No greeting, was... bothered to take order, asked a question about a sandwich since its my first time ordering without my husband and got asarcastic answer. Its not the customers fault if this guy does not like working here. He should not be the cashier if he hatestaking orders, maybe clean up crew? I love Firehouse! A ?healthier? fast food option. The Hook & Ladder is my favorite! Fast & friendly service and clean.
Like I said I was just very disappointed in the sandwiches and the service I just was in shock at the difference in the two... different Firehouse subs. I really almost thought it was a joke when we got all the way home and looked at her sandwiches andthere was literally one thin slice of meat on mine and my sister's had like one little glob of me on one end of hers and thatwas it so if you do go there to eat make sure you look at your sandwiches before you leave there with them because we lived onthe other side of Wylie and by the time I would have gotten back it would have been closed so I couldn't do anything about it. Great food. Pretty cool employees had a conversation with both of them and got my food fast.
I enjoy coming here because the sandwiches are always good. However, I firmly feel that customer service is lacking. I come once... every 2 weeks. Every visit we are welcomed as we come in and that's about it, other than what would you like. The employeesalways seem as though they are being bothered by us being here. Tonight my husband and I walked in @ 8:00 PM. All of the chairswere already stacked on top of the tables and the smell of cleaning chemicals were very strong. So needed dinner. Rushed there and got there before they closed. Sign says closes at 9pm but in all reality I guess they close... more like 845pm. Also tried to call in an order on our way up there but Nick said it was too late. Won't support this localestablishment anymore. Subway, Jersey Mike's, or Jimmy John's from now on. Read more
The O.G. Hook and Ladder is definitely top choice on My list but honestly haven't had a bad sub here!
