It had been quite some time since we had visited this Denny's (well over 1.5 years...) as in general, though the restaurant is... relatively new, the dining room was pretty run down and dirty. The food was not great and the waitstaff didnt seem to carewhether there were customers or not. Today, we gave it another chance. (We live close by and like to see our local placesthrive). WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! We walked in, the dining room is clean and inviting, the tables were bussed and ready for the nextguests. We were met with "hello's & Welcome in's" by very friendly waitstaff. Theresa, the manager has turned this placearound. The staff was happy, the food tasted great. WOW!! She treats everyone like they're family... This is how you createcustomer loyalty!! This is a great Diner! The 17-year-old server was the only one handling all the seating, orders, service, bussing, etc. and did... it with excellence, calm and very efficiently with steady speed and the place was pretty full for dinner. She deserves specialrecognition for this! The Asst. helped with some of the cashiering but she mostly handled that, too. I am impressed. The foodwas good. I think the cook was called Quick? The service here is absolutely amazing. Rebecca is always available and ready to serve me promptly. I only come into this... location once per month or so but she always remembers me and my preferred order. Is always prompt and never hovers. Shedeserves a raise! Carlos and Dilia are the best diner cooks in Dallas without a doubt! The food is always prepared how I orderit and arrives quickly. The plates look just like the menu! Update: After two years we finally went back. It was around 8 pm. They have new hours and the restaurant was slow. In... today?s reality I had low expectations on service. I still expect the food to be of quality if I can get it. But to mysurprise the service was great. Probably due to lack of customer but still I have to give praise when it due. Food was good. Server was with the bad attitude. She got upset as soon as we walked in @11pm 10/12/22. Server named Theresa, she... didn?t either greet us nor offered to ask any drinks or water. Food presenting manners zero. Another guest walked in coupleminutes later, she greeted them with smile and offered drinks. We are local here, but our experience was bad with the server.Won?t be coming here next time. Didn?t brought some of our order either, we specifically said low sodium, she didn?t care. Read more
