We ate there twice on our trip to Murphy. Lunch and Dinner, lunch was pretty good, a little short staffed; but the food was... good. Dinner was excellent! The patio is okay. The tables are weathered and moldy. The indoor seating area is out dated and depressing. The food is okay but... the portions are small. The smoked Gouda Mac was bland, as were the mixed vegetables. The spring vegetable soup was greasy andovercooked. They have no bread. The fried chicken was good but nothing special. Was craving some prime rib, and the one at Murphy's Chophouse was terrific! Such a lovely dinner, too stuffed for dessert. Your... dinner comes with soup (had She Crab Soup) or choice of salad (Hubby had the wedge, yum yum), potato and side. The veggie of theday was squash and it was prepared with onions and seasoning, was very good. Was so hungry, forgot to take a picture of thedinner when it arrived. Don't let the photos fool you. Looks great. Taste very bland, no flavor. You can get a French dip sandwich at Arby's that taste... better. I ordered my burger medium, it came out with blood on the plate. When the waitress took it back to what I thought wouldbe a new burger made, it came back deep fried along with my fries thrown back in the fryer and reserved hard.
