We ate here after a Google search and the food is on ???? !!! The tacos caught our eye and they were absolutely perfect. The... meat is cooked to perfection and the toppings balanced the tacos. The mac' n' cheese has brisket in it! Savory and cheezy! Thedirty fries are definitely a treat because they pour those delicious baked beans on top and can be a meal on its own. Really good BBQ! We got a few pounds of pulled pork and ordered it through the Toast app. Jim?s BBQ in Georgia is our favorite,... but this is the next best thing in Murphy. The meat was really good quality and not full of fat pieces. The staff is reallyfriendly and helpful! Read more
My boyfriend & I are new to the Murphy area & stopped in for lunch Friday. I had the pork & briscuit tacos special (Mac n?Cheese... side) & bf had the pork sandwich (baked beans side). The tacos were fantastic & bf told me the sandwich was very good as well.I?m not usually a bbq fan, but this place was legit. We will definitely be back. Read more
Great tasting food and easy online ordering with curbside delivery option, although no one noticed us in the parking lot so we... had to go inside anyway to pick up. There's a drive through, which is pretty cool and we'll try out next time. One point of goodcustomer service: right after ordering online, I got a phone call from am employee to confirm I was ordering for the Murphylocation, as they've been getting wrong orders for Sylva and Fort Myers locations lately. We ordered late on Sunday for dinnerand only the ribs were sold out. Brisket, pork, and turkey all great. Should have ordered extra sauce! Sauce options: Memphis,West Carolina, South Carolina and Honey Mustard. If you order online, note there's a reward point program, but you need toregister BEFORE you order to get points for your order, which we didn't do, so we didn't get points for our $30 order for two,bummer. Big Nick's is a real treasure chest for good old-fashioned BBQ. The okra and fries were fresh and crispy hot. The meat (smoked... turkey, pulled pork and brisket) was to die for. The manager brought out three different dipping sauces: sweet and spicy,vinegar-based and dijon mustard-based. They were all so good that it was hard to pick a favorite. For the quality and quantityof good food the prices were very reasonable. The dining area is quite rudimentary and al fresco. It is my observation thatalmost every really good barbecue pit focuses on the food and not the seating. You can also eat in your vehicle like Sonic ortake-out. REALLY GREAT BBQ! Read more
We arrived late evening and the brisket and turkey were sold out. We ordered the chicken tenders, okra, tater salad, pork... sandwich, baked beans, and hush puppies. All were delicious! The tenders were light and crispy. The okra is a typicalSouthern side. The baked beans included three types of beans and black eyed peas. The tater salad was rich and creamy with agood zing of dill. The pork sandwich had a healthy portion spread across the sandwich bun. The hush puppies were light andairy with bits of corn. The only complaint is that we could have used a little more sauce.
