You may wonder how one could get so excited over WH food, but since the pandemic, it is hard to get quality service and good... food. I have never had better food at a Waffle House, eggs were perfect, they know the meaning of DOUBLE hashbrowns (cookedperfectly), the bacon was not over cooked, the waffles were cooked perfectly. Our server only came to check on us twice the whole time we were there..1st tossed how the food was n the 2nd time to bring us... the check..The rest 8f the time she was on the other side of the restaurant n talking to her guyfriend.. But Jackson the otherserver was checking on us and helping with our needs.. I order the All star and the cook made the bacon and waffle first beforethe rest if my order so they got cold...Boyfriend ordered the Philly steak bowl and got his toast first and the bowl came 10mins later..They were not too busy that the food was served so slow... You can't really rate waffle house 5 stars. But you likely know what it is like eating here. Food us generally solid southern... cuisine. Sandwiches are good but the hashbrowns are better. Yeah the table might have some leftover condiments on it. Yeah thecooks are likely messing around but its a part of the whole experience. Read more
First of all grits was very hard and crunchy. Informed waiter she asked cook she said they were from yesterday. The ham tasted... spoiled. Horrible horible Read more
We stopped in around 10ish on Tuesday night & they had 1 server and 1 cook. Which I don't think is supposed to ever happen, but... our server was the best considering. She put our orders in right away and the cook made us the best orders we have had at aWaffle House in a while. Hats off to that guy! I will deffinatly stop here again next time I am in the area. 3.5 ??- waffle house is waffle house. you know what you are getting when you go there. I do enjoy watching them call out your... orders and this particular branch had a younger staff. You can see that they were enjoying themselves and take pride on whatthey were doing. If you want better breakfast options, go to cracker barrel but will come back just for memories andconvenience.
