Decent food went and ordered the special but wasn't informed it came with free drink so I ended up drinking a water. The food... was ok but for the price it was a bit small portions. Personally think there's to many other Mexican restaurants that offer morefor less money and a bit better more enthusiastic servers then this place did when we went. After hearing wonderful reviews about this establishment, my friend and I decided to try it out. When we walked in, we were not... greeted by any of the four individuals at the counter. After waiting a few minutes, I asked if we were to seat ourselves. It wasthen that one of the individuals proceeded to take us to a table and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. We alsoheard another individual state that she was not in the mood to ?deal with happy people?. Once seated, we were greeted by ourwaitress. If it was not for this individual, we would have walked out. This waitress was pleasant, attentive, and polite. Whenthe meal was done, we went to pay and was not greeted or asked how the meal or service was. Could barely hear the individualtells us our total. Food was ok. Nothing special. This is by far the best Mexican food I have ever had. I love their fajitas. The seasoning on their food is perfection!! I have... eaten at every Mexican restaurant in Murfreesboro and this place out beats them all. Hands down. Everything you order is morethan enough food. There prices are very comparable to other places. I would still come here even if they raised their prices.Honestly, they could use a bigger establishment. It's that good. The staff is good, but they could be a little nicer. That isthe only thing I could find wrong. However, I have not had any bad experiences so that is a win. We stopped here for lunch because so many restaurants are closed due to labor shortages in this area. It was a pleasant... surprise. It was quiet and our food was delivered fairly quickly. The food was simple and delicious Mexican cuisine and we bothenjoyed every bite. Read more
First time eating at this restaurant and very impressed with the food. My husband and I have eaten at a lot of Mexican... restaurants here in Murfreesboro over the last 10 years and this one is probably the best we had so far. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back. Read more
Popped in here for a quick lunch and quick it was. I was in-and-out and under 15 minutes. Ordered the Speedy Gonzalez. That was... good. The salsa was good. The service was alright. Not my favorite but certainly good enough for a quick bite. If convenient, Iwill be back :) Read more
We waited and waited for this place to open and when it finally did, I went in to place a take out order and was greeted with an... awesome staff of employees. Very welcoming and very helpful. I ordered the Mexican Street Tacos with Chorizo as my meat and Ialso got a side of guacamole. I'm sure it would've been better if we had eaten there but I honestly don't see how. It wasabsolutely delicious and fresh. The chorizo was seasoned perfectly. I didn't have to wait long at all and I definitely let themknow how good of a job they did from the time I walked in, until the time I walked out with my order. Edit #2 - Ok. So, I've had numerous meals here and I have to say that this really is the best Mexican you can get in town. There... are close runner ups, very close. But, ultimately Los Barriles is the best imo. Edit - It's unfortunate. Los Barriles haveraised their margarita prices. I wish the interior matched the higher prices. The food is still amazing. The drinks are stillamazing. It's just now you get what you pay for, haha. Service has been hit or miss as of lately. Again, the food and drinks areincredible here ---------------- My family and I will definitely be coming back. I'm not sure how long this place has beenhere, but it's our first time trying it out. Absolutely loved their margaritas and the adorable/colorful glass it comes in. Nojanky plastic cactus looking cup that some Mexican restaurants will serve you. No no, this is a beautiful hand colored glasscup. It really makes a difference in presentation. The food, salsa and cheese dip were all really good. The chips were stalehowever. Letting that slide as it could have been just that batch. Our server was really nice and prompt. The atmosphere wasjust enough. String lights, wooden posts and a beautiful bar greets you right when you walk in. The tacos pastor was the bestpastor I've personally had. It was true BBQ. Loved it. Definitely coming back! Read more
