Let me start by saying this review is not against the staff or the cleanliness. The restaurant was clean, and the wait staff... were nice. This review is about the food. From the moment we sat down with chips, salsa, and queso to our main courses -everything was bland. ZERO flavoring. The queso was extremely bland, no spice. The salsa tasted like tomatoe paste. Enter themain course.... the rice was as bland as bland can be. Not a single hint of spice. Wife got a Pollo Loco but with shreddedchicken. When it came it looked like cat food honestly. It was soaking wet with water. You could push down on the chicken andwater would pour out onto the plate. Zero spice as well. I got the Mexican pizza. I could only eat a few bites. It was so waterythe tortilla was super soggy, and there was essentially a lake of water building up under the pizza. There was zero flavoring inthe beef, and I couldnt see an indication of spices being used. It's a great idea, but I believe the issue is the pizza saucethey are using is too watery, and add in the refried beans they put in there having too much water, it ruined the entire meal.If management is reading thus I would highly recommend investing in different ingredients, and also investing in some spices. If I could give a negative two stars I would!!! Our older waitress kept insisting on touching our baby; petting his hair,... putting HER nose on HIS nose? needless to say, we got up and left. I didn?t even touch my drink because I knew Dad wasn?t havingit. We were clear with her as well; Don?t Touch The Baby. And she said, Oh No it?s Okay. Like NO IT IS NOT OK. I am a born and raised boro resident and have been coming here since I was a child. I love this place. It?s always been one of... my favorite restaurants in town. The food has always been reasonably price. For a family of five it is usually around 60 bucksfor takeout, at least for us. The environment is very casual so it?s a great go to place if you want a chill place to eat. Read more

Order was through DoorDash. Had the California Burrito and Chicken Taco, the food also came with what I?m assuming was homemade... chips. The burrito itself was delicious, although the taco was a mess it still had a lot of flavor. The chips on the other handwere a little to tough to eat, would of been fine without them. Called in an order around 1:00 pm for LUNCH today. Was told there is a $2 charge added to every meal because of increased meat... prices. Okay..so I ordered a California burrito and mixed fajitas. I was interrupted a couple times to ask what location I wasordering from, I told them multiple times NW Broad street as I had made sure to call the correct location. Idk if they have anoperator taking orders for every location or why there is such confusion about which location I was trying to order from.Anyway, when I pulled up I called and told them I had a curbside order to pickup, I was told I could come inside for pickup andwas asked my phone number and the moment I started speaking I was once again interrupted by them asking what location I orderedfrom. So my husband went inside to get our order as they didn't seem very willing to bring it out to us. When he got inside hewas told the total for our order was nearly $37!! When he asked why it was so expensive they said we didn't specify that wewanted lunch so they charged dinner prices plus the $2 "meat tax". Okay it's one thing to charge someone dinner prices when theyclearly wanted lunch at lunchtime but then you give them what is smaller than lunch portion!! They told my husband to specifylunch or dinner next time to which he replied "there won't be a next time" We got very little food and a disappointing amount ofmeat in our entrees for spending almost $40 on lunch. The rice was puffed up, mushy and tasteless, I got enough meat for 2tortillas, our cheese dip was less than halfway full and the burrito was mostly beans and hardly any chicken. Highlydisappointing experience. I won't be back and don't recommend anyone spend their hard earned money supporting a local businessthat is rude and rips you off. Read more
