You wouldnt' guess that a Texan would be a huge fan of Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, but I certainly have become one. ... Helen's has one of my favorites. It is always well cooked, crunchy, and the hot option on their sauce has a good kick. I'm notaverse to spicy food, but I'm not sure I would be up for hella hot given the level of kick hot has. Mr. Joshua Asemebo is the General Manager & Owner of the Murfreesboro site! He enforces/ensures technical aptitude and... professionalism of his employees while he's there. Hot plates cooked fresh is what you pay for and what you will receive! I gotoff work and made my way to the establishment @ 8:55p tonight; while driving up to the store's curbside, he so happen to beoutside on a smoke-break and respectfully asked me if I was wanting to make an order. I said yes, and he went inside, washed hishand, and cooked my order. Although, I popped up in the last 5 minutes before closing, the G.M. showed no attitude, not anythingless of professional service. If you love chicken and haven't eaten here before, definitely give this place a shot! I've been coming to this place pretty... regularly over the past few years and it has among the best fried chicken I've had. The chicken is always juicy and never dry. The seasoning and spices they use are great. If you want to try their hottest level, Hella Hot, I recommend getting it with thetenders or their wings for your first experience. It is HOT but it doesn't drown out the taste and quality of their chicken.Everything is cooked to order so there is a little bit of a wait but it is worth it. I ate here for the first time and the food was amazing! I took the Manager's advice and got both the mild chicken wing combo and... a side of catfish-lemon pepper hot. Both were cooked to order and so good! The mild is perfect and the hot lemon pepper is goodbut also really spicy so beware.
