Hole-in-the-wall (primarily) Chinese dive right next to MTSU. Aesthetically not pleasing, unless you?re one of those people who... knows the best food comes from the kind of place that makes you wonder, ?I mean are they even open?? The General Tso?s and theSesame chicken dishes are phenomenally prepared. There?s real chicken here, not the mystery-meat nuggets you get most places(the stuff that reheats like dehydrated cardboard). I?m talking moist, seasoned, texturally balanced and well thought out flavorprofiles. Except the rice. The rice is average, but rice is average and so are people who think rice should be anything butaverage. I didn?t order the fried rice because that?s a waste of time; I was referring to the spectacularly bland and actuallykind of wet white rice I enjoyed with three delightful chunks of herb roasted pork tenderloin. The accompanying juices accountedfor the blandness of the white rice, and I sopped it all up with an oversized and (based on some of the newer reviews)underappreciated cabbage egg roll. Overall 11/10 a gem in Murfreesboro. If you?re gonna go to ?insert generic Chinese restaurantname here? give this place a shot instead and then thank me when you and your family are like ?wow, this slaps on a whole notherlevel.? As much as I like to give a good review this is one I cannot. Inside the restaurant just by looking at the surroundings you can... see it's gone down hill from the last visit, the service at lunch time was very slow because only one person waiting oncustomer's. The food was not at all up to the standard's of my last visit and the cost was the same. I will not be going backand I really love oriental food. A very big letdown. Read more
