The staff told us that they were too busy to wait on us. They didn't come and seat us until we went and found someone. The... waitress told us that they were really busy and short staffed, there were 3 tables with customers in the entire place. Wecounted 6 people standing around doing nothing at all. We asked the waitress if someone could please get our order going becauseeveryone is just standing around, she said "we are all doing things". This is a real disappointment as this isn't what CrackerBarrel used to be. It seems all their employees have an attitude problem now. Read more

Went around dinner time 5:30-6:00pm on Wednesday 11/09/22 ... it wasn't too busy, we were seated fairly quick but we waited... forever to get our food. My food wasn't even warm when I got it. I took a couple bites and couldn't eat anymore. The serverwas nice enough to offer to fix me another plate but I declined because everyone else in my family was almost finished eatingbefore the server got back to our table to check on us. To top it all off.... while we're waiting for our food a couple enterswith their dog on a leash gets their food and proceeds to feed said dog food off their plates. Absolutely disgusted! Went here last night (10/14/22) and had to send my fish fry (supposed to be cod) back after waiting to... receive it for over an hour. Fish had gone bad (like bad bad-took one bite and it had a awful taste to it that even hubby agreedwas bad), it was cold, had skin still on it, and was not even battered and fried correctly. They even threw a few fries on myplate and slopped a spoon full of mashed potatoes on top of the fries and tossed a few green onions on top with some bacon bits.I had previously had this exact meal at another Cracker Barrel location one week prior and absolutely loved it, so boy was Idisappoint! To top it all off, my child ordered their scrambled egg & biscuit kids meal just to have it come cold, not scrambledand no biscuit (they had given us a basket of biscuits while we waited an hour and I had to add one to her plate). We asked forthem to fix the scrambled eggs just to be given cold folded eggs. We sent it back. Our poor waitress was having to deal withsuch bad cooking that she seemed overwhelmed but still provided good service which was the only good thing of the entireexperience. Ended up throwing up a little in the parking lot before leaving due to the lingering gone bad fish taste that Dr.Pepper couldn?t wash away and then later had to get something else to eat. I do not recommend this location at all! Managementfailed to maintain food quality, adequate staffing and standards. Go to the Old Fort location or Smyrna and save yourself thehassle of an hour plus wait for bad food. They even had one whole large section of the dining area closed off in an attempt toaccommodate and when we initially arrived there was not that many people there. The table next to us even experienced horriblefood and long wait times. Will not return. Read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at a Cacker Barrel! 5 of us waited over an hour for our food and when it came, it was either burned, cold... or parts of the dish were missing. We asked for a manager and the manager never came. We waited 15 mins and no manager came. Sowe left. Went to the other Cracker Barrell across town off old fort. Never had an issue with that one. Update - Another great meal. Came by here for quick lunch. Had the grilled chicken blt. Was fresh, tasty and the service was... excellent. See you next time. In my humble opinion, when your stomach needs a little Southern soul food fix there isn't anychain better than Cracker Barrel. Always consistent and they always have plenty to choose from. We were traveling, so we got there just before closing. The servers were all kind and helpful. I had the catfish, my brother had... chicken fried stake. My only complaint was the biscuits were hard, but it was just before closing. Will have to try them againduring regular hours Read more

I used to love Cracker Barrel I had great portion size and the food is pretty good. I recently went when I haven?t been for a... few years and the food was flavorless and I feel like it was Boxton frozen stuff. There?s a chicken fried steak and the fineprint on the menu it?ll tell you it?s ground beef. Read more
