City Cafe is the best around for breakfast. Their staff, and food exceed all my expectations everytime. Anyone who is looking... for a good, home cooked dessert you found the place. Their cobblers, pies, and cinnamon rolls are baked perfect everytime. Theirstaff, especially Cortney, are so kind and on it! This old school traditional country breakfast and lunch restaurant has been here since 1900. That says a lot. If you come in the... mornings you will frequently see one on one business meetings and groups of people who have met here on the same day at the sametable for years. It's clean and the service is good. I have no doubt it will be here for years to come. Read more

We visited with friends and everything was great. I had the country fried steak breakfast with biscuits and gravy. Excellent!... Good basic country fried with very tender meat and no attempts to "improve" on proven good old recipe. I lloved it! Read more
