Atmosphere here is really nice and upbeat. The food is good but takes way longer then it should. 15 min for a cup of gumbo which... is amazing and for cheese dip is a little excessive. I had to ask for them because it had been so long and the waitress forgot. The food itself was very flavorful and well seasoned. Definitely need to try if you haven't but make sure you have the time asthe kitchen is slow. Read more

Our waitress was not attentative and the place was not busy at all, no gator bites which is main reason we came so we settled... on the fried pickles (really salty) and fried grouper strips( only enjoyable thing) our pastas were drier than we're used to. And my husband's potion was like a child"s portion. They have great ice however! Read more

This place is a whole vibe! Bartenders are on point with the drinks, I've not had a bad experience the 3 times I've been now. I... could easily fill up on their amazing appetizers but the menu is filled with so many wonderful dishes. Fried, to grilled... it'sall so good. You are missing out of you pass this place up! 3 stars, it's okay. Not great. Not bad. The service was good. We ordered the seafood dip on the waitress' recommendation. We... asked her which would be better, the oysters or dip, and without hesitation she recommended the dip. It was okay. Very salty, but not bad. We ordered the steamed platter for 2 with Cajun garlic sauce and sausage added. On the positive, the crab legswere cooked perfectly and tasted very good. The few gulf shrimp we got were also good, and the mussels were cooked good, andweren't bad, but I'm not a big fan of mussels and neither is my wife. On the negative, the crab legs cluster had half of one ofthe legs missing, and one of the other legs barely had any meat at all. The head on jumbo shrimp were terrible. They were wayover cooked and the meat had a gross texture and stuck to the shells so they were difficult to peel, and didn't taste good. Theplatter was loaded with mussels. There must have been 30 or more. But they didn't put any oysters on there at all. She broughtus 3 oysters after we asked for them. In summary, 4 beers, a just okay, too salty appetizer, and then to share 4 potatoes, 2corns, about 4 gulf shrimp, a crab cluster with parts missing, about 6 inedible jumbo shrimp, 3 oysters, and 30+ mussels between2 people cost nearly $150 with a tip. It was fine. I grew up on the gulf coast and don't normally eat "Cajun" or seafood inTennessee because it's always disappointing. I had high hopes for this place after reading the reviews, but it was just okay. Not terrible, not great, but for nearly $75/person, I don't plan to return. Read more

Excellent Cajun seafood! This place has a very casual vibe also, which we love. Chelbie was an excellent waitress. The crab... fingers were the best I have had since we left Baton Rouge. All the food was authentic Cajun and brought back warm memories. TheJambalaya was excellent and filled with chicken and sausage. The fried shrimp were very good also, though not butterflied, theyhad a great taste. The gumbo had a dark Roux which is how I like it. It was also very spicy, I think it had aundullio sausage, which I also love. We will definitely try again when we are in the area. Read more

The service and food were really great! Can't wait to make it back. We tried a little of everything. The alligator bites were... worth trying! Fried pickles were good as well. Crawfish mac n cheese and the voodoo burger were my favorite. The blackenedshrimp alfredeaux was good but kind of bland tasting, had to add a lot of Tony's to spice it up some. Can't wait to try moredishes from here. Peach daiquiri was delicious too. Read more

We sat near the bar during lunch our 1st time a few weeks ago. Our waitress, Madison, was top notch. All her recommendations... were the best! I will request her again as she didn't fall short on waiting on us either. Now the food...simply amazing..I hadthe redfish Rockefeller, blackened and my friend had it grilled not blackened. Both ways were amazing..of course my way had alittle spice to it but not too much. It was cooked to perfection. Others at the table ordered shrimp po' boy and jambalaya soup.Everyone loved their food. It was all of our 1st time eating here. Madison did recommend the seafood dip appetizer for all ofus, but I really wanted the smoked ahi tuna dip which also was fantastic and a large portion before our food arrived. Next timeI will definitely get the seafood dip to try as recommended. Lunch time is easier to get seated than dinner. We stopped byanother weekend night and the wait was long like most other places so we were able to get seated elsewhere faster. Show up earlyif it's dinner..the food, service and overall is great..it is not a quiet place. Busy. Read more
