The place was nearly empty, but they had a pretty busy takeaway service going. The decor is interesting. It's one of those... vintage pieces meets newer pieces and photos of historic bad boys vibe in a bar. I think they only had one server for the wholerestaurant, but we were one of about 5 tables that I saw. I'd honestly have given them 4 stars for service if our empty tableshas been bussed at any point or if our drinks had been refilled at any point. I don't even think they asked my companion if shewanted another beer. We both ordered a version of the black bean burger. I completely missed that it has corn in it, so that'smy fault. I'm not a fan of corn. The grilled version is very mushy, but my companion got hers fried. I'd say go with fried. Ibelieve the fried might have had more flavor, too, with the added oil. My grilled one was sort of bland. The avocado was hardand just slid off the burger, which was really too tall to do anything but squish out the sides. They do have GF buns, though,so points for that. And the tater tots were the perfect amount of crispy and soft, which is hard to find. All in all, not aplace I'd pick to go again, but I'd be fine if someone wanted to go. A great place to stop in and have a really unique Burger. The burgers were cooked to perfection in the selection of toppings for... the burger were out of this world. Good service, food was yummy (even our pickier eater approved of the kid?s grilled cheese & fries) and they have lots of... options! We came for early dinner before 5 on a Saturday and were seated immediately. Didn?t get a photo of the fried deviledeggs before they were devoured. ???? Needless to say we liked them! Best place for Father?s Day lunch! Daddy is even in the name! The burgers were cooked to perfection and were absolutely killer.... I love truffles, I should have ordered the truffle French fries appetizer just for myself! Their deep fried deviled eggs werepretty good as well. If you?ve never had a prickle pear margarita, this is the place to have one! It?s hard to find those in thesouth, I usually get them on the west coast. I am NOT a burger fan. On any given year, I?d probably choose to eat/buy a burger less than 5 times ? but this place can get all... my burger allotment for the year and more ???? Once again, my family and I decided to try a recommendation from ?Good Eats inthe BORO? FB page and did not walk away disappointed. My husband got the Western Buffalo and didn?t leave a crumb. I got theMagic Mushroom (and added an over-easy fried egg), and it was so juicy! We both had truffle Parmesan fries as a side. Our songot the kids Mac and cheese with fries, and the kids portion was just right for him (some restaurants will barely give childrenany portions). Will definitely be back!!! Read more

Yummy yummy burgers! There's a list of specialty burgers and then you can create your own. The options available for CYO is... extensive to make just about any combination you'd like including 4 patty sizes, veg, chicken and others. I rarely eat my burgerwithout some kind of sauce but this one didn't need anything else. The thick onion rings did not disappoint either! The servicewas good and friendly. Went in for hot chicken week. I got the Kim's honey chicken sandwich, with a double fries, homemade chips with pimento, and two... beers. The sandwich was a bit to salty for my taste. The homemade chips had ALOT of small broken pieces and just a few wholechips. The fries were just okay. I'd give it another shot but order different items. Read more
