We tried this place, wanting to find a new place. I was especially looking for a new place that has a good Philly. We... ordered: Philly cheesesteak + fries Corned Beef Hash + Donut Hot dog The Philly was decent. My wife said the corned beef hashwas good. The hot dog was HUGE! We got it for our child, and it was too big for her to finish! This is not your ordinary hotdog! I've been told the burgers here are very good, so we will probably go back so I can try one. Showed up again this morning and enjoyed another great meal. Made to order hot and fresh. Owners are nice folks This is a very... interesting place. First, the food. It was very good. I had the corn beef hash which I am personally a big fan of and it did notdisappoint. The food in general reminds me very much of a classic old school all-American diner. Fresh made to order ingredientscooked in the open and very fresh. It is not pretentious or fancy in any way and definitely not trying to be. Just exactly asadvertised. I will be back based on the food alone. The décor and atmosphere are a little different. A clown on the wall andkind of a circus meets old school diner meets hole the wall feel. My first time there. FYI... you just walk up to the counter, order your food, and pay for it. The menus are paper and in a... small holder to the left of the register. I've included pics of the entire menu. You sit down wherever and they bring yourfood to you. I got the "Bomolete Combo". It was 3 eggs, green peppers, mushrooms, onions on a bed of hash browns covered in ablanket of melted, shredded cheese. It also came with barely toasted white bread, a donut, and a drink. We came in looking for breakfast and a place to do some work for business, and American Cafe was recommended several times. We... were not sure what to expect but found a clean open setting. Inspirational Music playing in the background but not loud. We bothordered something different and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our selection. Staff was friendly and attentive, environment wasclean, and the food was Simply Delicious. Price was right. Definitely found a new business breakfast location. This place isvery underrated.
