Gorgeous Cafe with a convenient grab and go cooler with salads, sandwiches, wraps, sides, and drinks. They also had a sweets... stand in the middle of the lobby space with chocolates, chips, and candies. Staff was super friendly and willing to help us feelwelcomed and taken care of. They offered a $12 beyond meat burger on a cibbata bun with cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce and aside of season hard pretzels with cheese. Delivered quickly and with great presentation. Read more

It was a mixed bag. I had a great Reuben sandwich, but my wife had a vegetarian rice bowl that was devoid of flavor. They were... extremely busy and had actually run out of many items on the menu. Because of this we had to order some things we would notnormally get. My son had a Mac and cheese creation with chicken that was pretty good. It's in the same building as By Georgebrewery, so we sat outside on the brewery patio and the food was brought to us there, so that was nice. I would return if inthe area again, but maybe earlier in the day before they run out of supplies. Read more

We had 2 delicious entrée salads: the U.P. Michigan Salad and the Driftwood Salad. Both were excellent, fresh,... substantial/filling, and ready to pick up in their Grab & Go case. We're visiting and tried pasties last night--which werehearty and filling--but really wanted a fresh salad today. These did not disappoint. Just a suggestion to the kitchen: thetomatoes on the U.P. Michigan Salad could be omitted as they don?t really go with the other ingredients /flavors. But good newsfor buyers: all the toppings are separately packaged in small containers so you can eat the ones you want. Highly recommend. Read more

This place is pretty great. Sandwiches were tasty, well portioned. Great vegetarian and meat eater options. Not sure if the... pretzels were house seasoned, but they were excellent. Dog friendly on patio- someone even brought out a water bowl for uswithout asking, which was just ???? Definitely recommend! Read more

Continuing on our road trip through Michigan, our next stop was to see the Pictured Rock National Lakeshore. We stayed a couple... of nights in a yurt and had a lovely time seeing the sights. We also enjoyed lunch at the Driftwood Deli in Munising. Oneawesome thing about this deli is it is actually connected to the ByGeorge Brewing Co! They had an awesome patio where we wereable to enjoy a couple of beers and some tasty food. My wife had the chicken bacon panini topped with garlic aioli, spinach, aroma tomato, red onion, muenster, and mozzarella cheese on a ciabatta bun ($11). This was an outstanding sandwich and it wasserved with some housemade flavored pretzels and dip. Our kids enjoyed the hot dog and the grilled cheese (both $7). These werenearly the same serving size as an adult sandwich, so plenty of food for the little ones. I really enjoyed the chicken Milanesegrinder, with breaded chicken, fresh mozzarella, tomato basil salad, arugula, and a lemon mayo sauce ($13). The Cuban bread wasvery tasty and pressed on the panini maker as well. This was a wonderful stop after a busy morning of kayaking on LakeSuperior. Highly recommended Read more
