Thank you Bill and George for all that you do. You and your staff are simply the best. This afternoon we had our DIL?s baby... shower for about 25 in a private room off to one side of the main dining room and it could not have gone any better. George tookvery good care of my wife in the planning stages and guided her thoughtfully with kindness and respect. Our waiter Miguel was asefficient and warm as you would ever wish for on an occasion such as this. And us boys at the bar were very well cared for byour friendly and professional bartender along with Miguel. The food, as always, was perfect. Perfect. Thanks all for aremarkable afternoon. I hadn't been to Dover Straits in years and was thrilled to find out that they are still there! It is owned by the same owners.... The food was delicious and not overpriced. There is plenty of seating. The gentleman hosts are very courteous and professional.We went for our Anniversary and then again, for my Birthday. The first time we ate in the bar area. It's a great atmosphere!Beautiful bar! Terry was our server and she was fantastic! They have live music on the weekends. So glad Dover Straits is stillthere. Not to many places with great seafood dishes. We first went to their Hoffman Estates location and loved it. George and Joanne... took great care of us and better yet treated Mom as if she was the only person there. Now we visit this location and are happyto see George and Bill and the rest of the staff. Always great food, cocktails and a wonderful evening. Classy bar andrestaurant. Highly recommend!! only wish they would bring back their stuffed flounder and stuffed broiled shrimp. Yummmm Read more

They have a separate lounge area for dining and enjoying their varied seafood choices. As well as listening to theirmusical accompaniments. I understand "landlubbers" choices are very good too.
