We ate there Saturday, November 19. We had a 5:45 reservation, seated promptly by hostess. Ordered, one of us got a salad and... one got soup as starters. Ordered our entrees and then waited well over an hour and a half for our meals. Three of us gotevening specials and one got the wine braised beef. People near our table came in after us and got their meals and were downeating before we were served. My husband's meal was cold. The four of us are retired restaurant owners and we were quitedisappointed. We sat there with a carafe of water, and nothing else. Absolutely delicious, great service, great atmosphere, great drinks, great owners. What a wonderful place to eat in Muncy - or... anywhere! Try the stuffed peppers and any of the pastas. The homemade ice cream is to die for. The lavender lemonade is amazing.So much care put into their food and a truly unique special menu. The ceramics in the gift shop are so beautiful and made by theowner's mother who is truly talented. I highly recommend Basil to anyone who wants an amazing restaurant experience. Highly recommend making a reservation as there... was a wait before the doors opened at 5 pm. The drinks, the service and the food were phenomenal. As someone who has to eatgluten free, I can confidently say that the gluten free pizza was the best I have ever had! Bloody Mary's had a nice kick. Benne's were great. Next time we'd get the chicken and waffles with the syrup on the side but... everyone loved their meals. Great idea to offer mimosa flights. Read more

Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Don?t let the bland sand colored building block exterior throw you off, it?s... absolutely charming inside. For a small town the pricing is not $, it?s $$$. So expect to pay a little more for quality, realingredients that are clearly never frozen. First-rate bartending too! We will definitely be back!
