Our second anniversary in a row eating there and the entrees we re excellent. Very disappointed to arrive home with my elderly... mothers creme brûlée to go, only to find it was not even in a container but rather had been dumped in the cardboard carry outbox and looked very unappetizing to say the least. Not even covered, just dumped in a box much larger than the serving size. Notwhat I expected for the cost. Again, main meal was great. Read more

I can’t believe I have never sat down and reviewed one of my favorite restaurants. The food is out of this world good (I love... the shrimp and grits and the sawmill Benedict) and the drinks are even better. My wife and I always sit at the bar and chat withCam about life, booze, and that one cello guy that used to play on the patio. I love this place and I try to go as often as Ican! Read more

Everything was excellent. From the appetizers, to the service, to the desserts I wouldn't ask for anything different. This is... the best food I've eaten in Muncie. I would use any excuse to come back here. Read more

Wow! This place is the best hidden gem in Muncie! Starting with the exterior, the peach trees and the garden and the outdoor... seating area. Just so unexpected and delightful! The inside is just as amazing with all the little details checked! Then, there's the food. The Star Attraction! The main show, it's what taste buds dream of! Job well done, Chef! You have manifestedyour passion into exquisite edible art! Presentation was on point! The taste was out of this world! You did not cut corners onquality. We overheard what the fruit was and the fact that there was not an overload of melon but yet fresh peaches andstrawberries and grapes and apple! I had the sawmill Benedict which was outstanding! Perfectly poached eggs a top a fluffycheddar biscuit with a delicious sausage gravy with a little bit of a kick! So good! My husband had the steak and eggs ( and aside of french toast) with orange juice that was delicious! Steak was perfectly cooked, The Hollandaise sauce was so good! Andthat French toast, so light and fluffy and delicious! My friend had the crab and bacon strata. There was large portions of craband it was perfectly cooked inside of a cast iron skillet. So many delicious flavors that just complemented each other. Thevodka spritzer with cucumber she enjoyed thoroughly! And I had the grand mimosas which I highly recommend! We are so thankfulto know that this place exists so close to us as we travel all over looking for food that delights our taste buds! We lookforward to many more meals at the establishment. Read more

We came here for our 2 year anniversary for the first time and were blown away by the staff, (shout out to Derek and Haley)... food, and atmosphere. We started out with drinks at the bar with Derek (the lime gimlet he suggested was amazing) and then offto the dining room. For appetizers we had the Farmhouse Galette and Scallops. The farmhouse was the most surprising mix oftart/sweet/savory that we've ever had and we loved every bite. The andouille sausage soup and Neely house salad (with champagnevinaigrette) were also EXCELLENT. And just when we thought our evening couldn't be topped we ordered the Matilda's Pasta withchicken and smoked canellini ravioli (amazing) and the rack of lamb which we happily devoured. We cannot say enough fabulousthings about our first visit to the Neely house. Try the Malbec Durigutti Clasico wine with anything and you will love it! HappyBoomiversary to us! =D Thank you Neely house staff! Read more

This place is excellent! The food was fresh, delicious, and every bite was interesting to keep your palate from getting bored.... The decor was beautiful and took you back to a simpler time. They kept intimate diners in one area and larger parties in anotherroom. Would highly recommend for an excellent dining experience. Just wait until they harvest their garden this Summer and youcan have fresh vegetables right out of the garden on-site! Read more
