The food is usually decent, most of it, make good Sunnyside up eggs, apple cobbler really needs work. Establishment needs... repairs, mostly the ceiling. Overall we usually have a good experience here. Though I will admit, some of the food, is bland andcould use some more flavor. Read more

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday morning while in the area. We couldn't have been more pleased! The breakfast was... fantastic and the service outstanding. You can tell by the atmosphere it's a labor of love. Mulvane is so lucky to haveLaurie's! I highly recommend it! Read more
I would give this a 5 star if it were only based on the food. However, the staff and the layout of the place were a lot left to... be desired. Our waitress seemed nice enough only we didnt see her but twice. The girl that brought us our food appeared to behalf asleep or really bored. Either way she was far less than enthusiastic with job and wanted everyone to know it. Read more
If you want a fantastic meal, this is the place!! The breakfast burrito is my favorite! My Son loves the roughneck. Prices are... great, portions are huge, and food is fresh. It's a fun family diner experience, with a hometown feel. Watch for specials, likesteak night where steaks are charcoal grilled outdoors. If you want cooking like your Moms, try Lauries!! YUM!!! Stopped in over the lunch hour for the fried chicken. Loved the very small-town diner vibe and the owner was there working along... with her small staff. There were a handful of diners that were obviously regulars, which was great to see that kind offamiliarity. Service was great. The food was delicious in that small town diner way that leaves you content and full but notmiserably stuffed. Prices were really reasonable as well. Great little spot for a bite! Read more
The biscuits and gravy are out of this world good! The eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly for me. I would?ve rated them... if the service was half as good as the food. The service on the other was horrible. I was greeted when I first came in and thenabout 5 minutes for a waitress to come over and then I placed my drink order and food order. I didn?t get any water for 15minutes, and only then because I went to the waitress and she brought over and then didn?t check on it for 10 minutes. Ioverheard that they were slammed and that would?ve been fine, but, as soon as one of their friends came in they took great careof them while ignoring most others. Loved the downhome cooking. Shirt on staff but food was worth the wait.
