The only reason my experience deserves a star is because the food and Bloody Mary were delicious! The cocktail menu looks great,... too bad I won?t go back to find out if they are? Our service was initially super nice when we sat down for breakfast around9AM. About 15 min after placing our food order, a table of 6 and a table of 2 walked in. Those tables placed their orders andwere almost done eating by the time we got our food at 10AM. At about 945, after being ignored by our server after attemptingeye contact and waving her down over the 40-ish min wait time - I had went up to the bar - since the tables that arrived afterus had been served - to politely ask where we were in line with our order. I didn?t get one sentence out until Brandy (who Ifound out later was the manager) interrupted me and said ?Everyone walked in at one time and there?s only one cook, it?scoming!?. She said it so loud my friend could hear her from the table across the room. I was shocked at how rude she was andthat she was blaming the cook. I wonder if our order got accidentally lost? It happens, communication is nice though? Weweren?t in a rush - but I didn?t appreciate that behavior from them both. Like teenage girls.. I sat back down and the serverand Brandy laughed behind the bar. We wanted to get up and leave at that point - but didn?t. We were hungry. The food was good,but the service was awful. Service was good to start the went down from there. No fork, can't get napkins until food comes so table is wet from drink... glass. Service people seems a little swamped trying to multi task stocking bar supplies instead of taking g care of customersrequest. Then out of beer, then out of CO2. Two half glasses of flat beer. Took a long time to place an order, I understand that there are staffing issues everywhere but seemed things were unorganized.... When we got our food it was cold. My meal was the special and still had to let waitress know to correct the price. She is theone that said it was on special. Not impressed. Read more
I understand from other employees that Susan has been let go. She was one of the main reasons we came to the Horseshoe. No... matter how busy the place was, she kept it running smoothly. We are going to miss coming in as frequently as we did. We willfind out where she?s working and that is where we will go.Susan was an asset to your establishment and it will be a great loss. The service is terrible. We were there 20 minutes and not even a cup of coffee. We told the the waitress that we were there for... breakfast and asked if we could sit on the patio she said you're more than welcome to sit any place you would like. So we wentto the patio. found somebody's phone gave it to the waitress and continue to sit, no menus, no coffee, nothing so we left. Read more
My husband and I stopped by on our way through town. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and had great recommendations.... The clam chowder is house made and so good! We also ordered the western burger and the fish and chips. Both were very good! Ourcocktails were also fabulous. The patio looks great when the weather is nice. Highly recommend this place! Read more
It's funny to say that I went to a bar and grill for breakfast, but that's what my mom and I did and it was great. It's a... Western country bar and grill that seems to be pretty popular with the locals. They have great food, the service was wonderfuland it was different than most places you dine at for breakfast. There are slot machines in the back corner, a bar the greateating area outside. The food was fantastic and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for something good to eat. Read more
