Living in Evanston, we visit the Bridger Valley often, but it had been awhile since we dined at Crazy Ate -- don't ask me why!... We had breakfast there the other day and enjoyed the friendly service, clean environs, and generous portions. If you likeregular sugar in your coffee or iced tea, ask for a sugar shaker instead of littering your table with a bunch of empty packets. The only reason I don't give five stars is that I thought the coffee was a little expensive - almost $3 a cup - but that's by nomeans a deal-breaker. We'd happily dine there again. Read more

I've had the most amazing experience at Crazy Ate Cafe and wanted to share it with you. Jim and Jan and serving staff are top... notch in their restaurant. Dropped in with a friend and had a country fried steak, hash browns and eggs. Serving time was veryfast and the steak, eggs and browns were the nest I've had in Wyoming. Friendly female server and even management came out tosee if our meal was excellent. It was. I'd recommend Crazy Ate Cafe to allege locals for sure, and for those traveling to themountains before they start their day. You won't regret it! 5/5 Stars! Read more

Wait staff are great, and this place used to be better. Last couple visits the owners are cooking, and it's awful. Ordered steak... and eggs, medium rare and over easy, and what I got was a dried out well done piece of leather and eggs that were undercookedwith snot for whites. And of course the portions were half the norm because the owner is trying to save money while increasingprices constantly. Do yourself a favor and call to see who is cooking. If it's Jim or Jan (the owners) don't bother. That'swhat the regulars do. You'll pay a premium price for poorly prepared food in child size potions if Jim is anywherearound. Again, Mel and Roxie are fantastic waitresses. I go there to support them, but Jim needs to stay the hell out of there. He is ruining his own business. Read more

Wow! This place was a pleasant surprise! We were traveling through this small town and decided to stop for a late lunch. It?s... reviews were good so we decided to try it out. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, it was delicious! The coleslaw on it had a nicezing to it and the sauce matched it perfectly. The bun was homemade? One of the best Reubens I?ve had in a very long time! MyWife got the chicken fried steak, it was good and as big as her plate! I took the rest with us and ?Ate? it for breakfast thenext morning. The building is just average, but our waitress was Excellent! I didn?t catch her name but she was very nice andattentive, but not in a fake way. ?Genuinely? caring, nice, helpful. It seemed like a small town family running a greatbusiness! Read more

I love mom and pop restaurants and this didn't disappoint. The sweet potato fries were heavenly, and they had fry sauce! My... Malibu chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection. The service was great too. I'd go back! Read more
