There was only one main item for vegetarians but it was pretty good. We went for medium and spicy levels and it went well with... the soup base. The service was great. Would come here again. They add a service fee of 16 percent on the bill. PS: They havethese cute cups with ridges in them for easily holding a hot beverage. Wonder where they?re from. Read more
We came here on Saturday and did not wait for a long time, just 10 min. Ramen and chashu don tasted great. In addition, they... would inform that they charged service fee 16% before billing, which is much better than Orenchi. The located street is also agood place to wander around. Read more
Family decided to try this ramen place from the reviews. We've been to many ramen places throughout CA and a couple in NYC and... BOS. Tonkotsu medium spice broth (special bowl) was delicious, not too creamy or salty, and the noodles were just right. Gizow/sauce and squid legs/tentacles were good. Our chicken kaarage appeared to be undercooked but Mgr said that it was theircooking style and fully cooked. He rectify the issue. Service was excellent and attentive from our server, Luis S. This place mainly serves ramen and curry. The ramen was really good, soup is juicy. The curry is also good, but just the portion... of meat is relatively small. Also now they add up 16% service to the check directly. Read more
Always loved this place. The ambience, the staff, the hustle and bustle and of course the food. The ramen and most other... appetizers and the sake are just delightful. I've been here many times ... During the day, during the night and I will surelybe here many more times as I love ramen and this place simply serves the best I have come across. Point of note, most of myfriends love this place as well.. including the vegetarian broth. Read more
Good ramen overall but I've had better for the same price. Eggs are slightly too cooked for me and pork could be tender. But... still 5 star because maybe I am just being too critical. Enjoyed my stay. Read more
The noodles were so good and the broth was very tasty. The chasu pork is the best. It was the perfect ramen place with the... authentic touch in both serving and appearance. I am so glad to find this place and hope to come here more often. The price isvery affordable and worthy. Read more
Ramen Izakaya Yu-Gen, this place was excellent. First time customer. I ordered the Geso Karaage (lightly fried squid) for the... appetizer and the Tonkotsu Deluxe Ramen. The DX Ramen included the Chashu (simmered sliced pork) and the Kakuni (slow cookedpork belly). Both the appetizer and the main dish were extremely flavorful and tasty.
