Found this restaurant while looking for warm sandwiches on maps. Drove down here for a weekend lunch. We had the mumbai... sandwich, mumbai aloo frankie, aamras, vadapav. The food was served within 10 minutes. The Sandwich tasted good. The veggieswere crunchy, the aloo tasted great, the sauce was nice as well. The Sandwich was warm and it felt fresh. The aloo frankie wasextremely hot to even touch or take a bit or enjoy. Not sure if they have any temperature control. When you are super hungry andyou have to wait for your food for 20 mins to get it eatable in its form, it is not a good experience. It felt like it has a premade Frankie and is over heated in a microwave. The aloo inside felt like slightly burnt mashed potatoes tossed with a fewchopped onions and masalas. The aamras was vold and refreshing with medium sweetness and thick. That was the saving grace whiletaking bite of the hot frankie!! The vada pav was ok as well. It?s a nice place to try great wada paavs. Wadas are on spicier side but overall taste fresh and delicious. They also have other... Maharashtrian food items such as Kothimbir vadi and Kokum sarbat. Kothimbir vadi isn?t really available at most of the places,so it was a pleasant surprise. It?s not as good as homemade, it?s rather in the form of dense squares that gets little oily. Thetiny yogurt dip that comes with it was rather yogurt water, we had to request for real yogurt, that we got. Kokam sarbat wasanother surprising item, however it was too salty. They might need to reduce the salt quantity or offer salt separately based oncustomers? taste. I still give them high stars because of 2 reasons. 1. Customer service is great. Gentleman on the counternamed ?Alex? was really kind and polite to us. We sat in the restaurant for hours and he made sure we had everything we need. 2.Irrespective of small hiccups, food is delicious. Be it kadahi paneer and thetcha or their signature wada paav. Really some of the best Maharashtran food that I have had in the Bay Area. We ordered vada pav, misal pav, sabudhaana vada,... kachi dabeli, pav bhaaji with amul cheese and gulpoli. The pav bhaji with amul cheese was simply delicious. It was rich spicyand well seasoned. The sabudhaana vada was the star of the show in my opinion. It was crispy outside and soft inside, wellcooked and very well seasoned. The yoghurt dip along with it was delicious with a mix of tanginess from the yoghurt combinedwith a slight hint of sweetness. The misal pav and vada pav were mildly spiced and tasty. The dabeli filling was delicious andthe chutney spread on the pav was really delicious. The addition of pomegranate seeds was a really nice touch. The service wasslightly off. It took almost 15 minutes to get a glass of water. But overall it was a delicious experience. Read more

first experience eating vada pav (so take my review with a grain of salt) but was super delicious! came with some coworkers who... said vadapav is their favorite food since childhood and had to come here to try some. we ordered vada pav, masala fries, and thepaneer tikka frankie. the vadapav was super delicious, great amount of spices and delicious chutneys. masala fries were alsovery solid (not many ways in which you can go wrong with them). the frankie was a bit lacking especially in comparison to theother two dishes; felt like it could have used more seasoning/sauce. overall, quick service, great chutneys (esp. the tamarindone). would definitely come again!
