Be warned! The pricing here can be arbitrary, especially if you challenge them with an off-menu item, however simple. I was... billed almost $15 for a cold tuna sandwich with two slices of American cheese on it---nothing else on the plate--and was told,when I asked, that that was the correct price. Nice diner that I have never been to before or even noticed, to be honest! Nice portions, friendly service and a nice... atmosphere.I had a Texas burger (I think that's what it was called) and curly fries. Good and filling! I also had coffee andfor whatever reason, it was delicious. Read more
I?m glad everyone?s breakfast items seem to have been very good however I ordered a Cobb salad from here and it was NOT good.... Old chicken, mushy lettuce, and the egg had such an off flavor I just couldn?t eat it. Unfortunately the people on the phonedidn?t want to help but they were happy to take my $20 bucks :( Read more
Paul?s Diner is a classic New Jersey diner - they offer the basics and more - breakfast, burgers, melts, clubs, gyros, salads,... shakes, cakes and pies, etc. The food is good, the servers are kind and attentive, the place is clean and newly renovated.Nothing not to like! Stopped in for supper while we were staying in town one night. Happy to see accessible ramp to front door, thank you! Host was... friendly and we were seated promptly. Great menu with tons of options - we ordered French Dip and the Chicken Souvlaki... and aside of onion rings. Both were delicious, and the portions were huge! Excellent place for a great meal,atmosphere and service. I save 5 star reviews for the extraordinary and not usually restaurants... as waiters and cooks change ,especially at diners. But the owner rarely does. So take my 4 as a 5 for this neat,very well keptand run restaurant and as for the meals I had there,I have no complaints whatsoever and I'm very picky and critical of what goesin my mouth and stomach.
