I wish I had taken a picture of our food because it looked amazing and tasted even better! I really think it was the best steak... I have ever eaten! (And I love steak) We had brunch and now I really want to eat dinner here as well. Also the cocktail I hadwas the best I've had in a long time. I was in town for a wedding and decided to give this place a try. I'm so glad I did! The staff was amazing, especially Kristin.... She knew exactly what I wanted before I did and her recommendations were spot on. I didn't even know I needed that short rib,bit it was exactly what I needed. She was one of the best servers I've had the experience getting to know, and I wish I couldhave stolen her for my hometown. Everyone needs a Kristin at their favorite restaurant. I think I probably caught them on an off night, but by the time I ordered (10 min after arriving), there were no entrees left... except the burger, which would have been fine except it was too salty to be edible (as were the fries). I got a hibiscus OldFashioned, which didn?t taste like much of anything and a La Louisiane, which WAS very good. The watermelon salad was fine. This first visit was between my work shifts on a Tuesday. I got there right after they opened at 3:30 pm. Having looked at the... online menu previously, I ordered the Crab Cake from the small plates section of the menu. It was delicious, but I wish it couldhave been just a smidge less browned, not that I didn?t practically inhale it as it was. The sauce was fantastic.
