The main boss lady is always super kind. The sweet and sour chicken can be a bit big sometimes. But it's always good - and... usually has enough nuggets sized peices to satisfy a picky child. Read more
I love Chinese food and eat at many different restaurants. China Cafe in Mt. Washington is my favorite by far. The food always... is full of flavor, great egg rolls, my favorite Kung Pao Chicken has just the right level of heat and the white rice is alwayscooked just right. Dined in and enjoyed a luncheon special of shrimp with vegetables and wonton soup. The lady taking the orders at the counter was... friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that they did not have a working ice machine and I ordered a bottled soda with my meal.As usual, the food was delicious and soup was not overly salted as you find in similar restaurants. The restaurant appears tobe going through some upgrading and the front of the dining room was being used to store some goods. Overall, this is still myfavorite Chinese Restaurant in the area.
