Don?t waste your time if you want to wait over an hour for your dinner. Our server said ?we pace ourselves here?. That would... have been nice to know being from out of town and my husband wanting a good steak. Speaking of steak, it was awful. Not preparedas requested, and the server was put off when he told her of the quality. The head chef did come and see if he wanted somethingnew but since we had already waited over an hour, he said no. The drinks were not quality either and overpriced. We won?t beback. Read more
We came here for dinner our last in the area. So glad we made the drive! We just left Vegas after having spent over a year... there. The food here was better than many dinners we had on the strip. The pork belly appetizer was worthy of mention in anyMichelin rated restaurant. My rib eye was cooked nicely and my husband loved his with the shrimp ettoufee topping. Specialtydrink were yummy! Friendly staff, wonderful food and relaxing atmosphere. We love coming in to enjoy the music entertainment on Wine down... Wednesdays. They always have a wonderful special going on and the chefs are very creative. Their entire menu is exceptional withmy personal favorite being their chicken marsala. Clean. Food very good. Great details on decor. A few downfall that could be improved... Wished they had bread or rolls, was... served a hard piece of toast, a big minus :( and salad not very good such as no croutons and blue cheese dressing tasted cheapoily taste. We arrived and the hostess asked us for a reservation after we told her that we did not have any she said that the next... available table will be ready in an hour later, I asked her why so many empty tables and she said that the people hasn'tarrived. She offered us the bar and we sat there. We were for almost two hours and the bar and to our surprise no one ever cameto the empty tables. Cocktails and stakes were great, but we had a Mahi Mahi with pilaf rice and was way to salty. Read more
Sydney started our experience on a high note - a friendly and wonderful hostess, and it was her first time working. ???? Josh... was our friendly, attentive, and efficient server. My father and I conversed as we sipped beverages - Chardonnay andCosmopolitan - both were lovely. We ordered the prime rib special, cooked perfectly and generous portions - excellent! Inaddition to top-notch food, the decor is delightful and tables are spaced at a safe and pleasant distance. There is anaccessible ramp at the side of the building as an alternative to the 3 steps in the front entrance. In addition, I greatlyappreciated the convenience of online reservations. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. I will return on mynext trip to Southern Illinois. Read more
Cool space and decor. The food was just ok. It says chop house but there were only three cuts on the menu, I was expecting more... cuts, sizes, ages, and sides. Bartender was a nice guy but was soooo slow and it wasn?t busy. If the bar was busy I might havenever gotten an order in. Read more
