Delicious food, very large portions, I got the Pollos con rancheros and couldn't eat all of it!
Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. There was no wait and I was seated immediately. I chose the Burrito Al Pastore and was not... disappointed. The burrito was enormous and consisted of a flour tortilla filled with seasoned pork, rice, black beans, andguacamole. Three grilled pineapple rings topped the burrito which was smothered in queso blanco. Very tasty and very filling. The chips for the complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and warm. The salsa was different than what you find at most Mexicanrestaurants in that it was milder and more tomato based. The only issue would be the waitress spoke very little English. Iknow enough Spanish to get by but that isn't the case for everyone. Read more
It's authentic Mexican food. The fajitas are incredible. The horchata is strong and absolutely delicious.
Food was cold, cheap margarita, expensive. I would recommend, Mio Jalapenos good food and drink! Worth the drive!
I like this place so much the recognize me when I come in. Also I normally get the same things. Either Molcajete, or... cheesesteak. They?re my favorite, sometimes I try something different but not often. Read more
Hostess didn't speak English. I realize it's a Mexican restaurant, but it's in a small town in the Midwest. Ordered lunch taco... salad with chicken. Got a few tiny pieces of chicken. Half the salad was green peppers. Read more
It was a great restaurant in a very small town. A group of us nurses were in town to give COVID vaccines to the prisoners and... employees at the prison. There was 12 of us at dinner, we were the talk of the town. The owner asked if he could take ourpicture for the restaurant Facebook page and we agreed. There were also good drink specials and we needed them! Read more
Friendly service, surprisingly fair prices, and good food. Didn?t get a chance to try the margarita bar, but maybe another time.
