It was my first time coming here. The place was busy on Sunday. Great servers got seated right away. The fried sirloin was... seasoned and cooked perfectly. The mash potatoes with the buttered corn went great together. I recommend the brown gravy overthe white. You also can't go wrong with the steak fries. The endless warm buns with the salted butter are so addictive. Read more

So I'm on a quest to try out all of the steakhouses in the Chicagoland area and tonight, I opted for the big chain restaurant,... Texas Roadhouse. Having actually been to roadhouses in Texas, I was curious to see how this place measured up. First, any selfrespecting (and by "self respecting," I mean "not afraid to voice their - usually disdainful - opinion") Texan would go on atlength about how no steaks in the midwest could possibly measure up to steaks in the lone star state. Joke's on them! I orderedfilet medallions with peppercorn sauce and they tasted just as good as any steak I ever had in Texas, that's a fact. Actually, they were so good, I completely forgot about the sauce until the steak was gone! I also had a house salad (nothing unusual, itwas fine) and green beans. The green beans were much tastier and not the typical soggy bland beans one usually receives in mostrestaurants. Last but not least, my server was wonderful. I'm so mad I didn't get her name because she worked really hard tomake sure I was well cared for. I felt really bad for her because the group next to me made a huge mess and only left her a $1tip so I made sure to give her a 40% tip on my own bill to help offset the other party's rudeness. But I digress. Thanks forthe great meal and service, Texas Roadhouse - I'll be sure to recommend you to others in the area! Read more

Very convenient to call ahead if you are thinking of eating here. A lot of people really come to experience the sumptuous food... in their menu. Better have your name on the waitlist ???? because of that our waiting time was not that long. ???? I really lovethe ambiance! If only I checked out their promos I would have gotten a free side kick ???????????????? Anyways, I enjoyedcelebrating my birthday with my husband. I ordered the 8 oz fillet mignon with grilled shrimps, buttered corn and baked sweetpotatoes. My husband ordered some steak smothered with mushroom and onions. For the first time we finished everything on ourplate! For us it was that good! Also thank you for also making our veterans feel safe and important for the parking youallotted for them! We will definitely go back!! Read more

We drive one hour for the rolls and cinnamon butter. We’ll come back for the service! Our waitress was super polite and... friendly. I’m a fan of the ribs. The homemade steak sauce is also savory. Military friendly and they even save a spot forveterans. Thank you Texas Roadhouse for your support! Read more

I may have went in higher expectations than I should have for a theme steakhouse - I was disappointed by the lack of flavor of... the actual cut of meat. It was tender though. The sides were plentiful but really wet. The corn looks great in the picture- onceyou ate the top layer, the rest swims in liquid...and not buttery liquid either. The gravy drowned the mashed potatos and left aslightly bitter? taste. The sweet rolls that we were seated with were warm & sweet. Not a fan of the cinnamon butter- doesn'tmake sense to my taste buds to add sweet with sweet. Read more

1st time visiting, very pleasant experience. Called ahead to be put on the waiting list, so once we pulled into the lot we... didn't have to wait more than 40 seconds to get seated. Had two Margaritas, both of them as big as a softball, sweet and tasty. Knew I shouldn't have ordered the combination appetizer platter, but loved the rattlesnake bites regardless. The 14 oz rib eyewas very juicy and tender. Ordered it medium rare but it was probably a little closer to medium. Not a big deal, still verytasty. Waitress was very attentive and kind to my friend and I, And the dining room was packed even at 5 o'clock, clearly thisplace is still a favorite watering hole even after the pandemic has calmed down. No more peanuts on the floor however, I guessthat era has come and gone for this franchise. It might be a chain but at least they have their ducks in a row, the wholeexperience lasted about an hour and we left too full to walk in a straight line. Fair warning, Perhaps skip the appetizers ifyou are ordering just for yourself, they are shareable and calorie-dense. I managed to finish my meal but just barely and now Ineed a nap. Nice folks, good service. Read more
