Did not expect to find a Korean restaurant run by Korean folks middle of nowhere! Still our expectation was low, but to our... surprise their food and menu selection were pretty authentic. Very good dinner, very much authentic. Large selection of Sushi rolls and Korean dishes. Prices are very reasonable and fair.... Service was great, very friendly and attentive. Preparing time for the food was really quick too. Overall pleased with thisrestaurant. Read more
The food was excellent. We had some sushi, the glazed salmon, edemame, dumpling, Yaki udon, kimchi jigae, bulgogi, and I am sure... I am missing something? The salmon had this amazing crunchy coating under the glazed that was incredible, and everything wasfresh. The building is a very old tavern with random, idiosyncratic decor and a ton of character. We decided to try this place while on vacation and were very happy with our meal! The decor was more rustic and at first we were... unsure, when the food came not only was it fast and affordable but it was so delicious! This being said we eat sushi almostweekly at home and are spoiled by some really good fresh fish so we are by no means unfamiliar with good sushi. I would say ifyou are in the area, make the stop! The people that work here are nice and I don't want to offend but the food is expensive and bland. I lived in Korea for three... years and this tasted nothing like what you get there. I got the Korean BBQ and it wasn't sweet like I expected...just kind oflike bland curry. Teriyaki Chicken smelled funny...and tasted like maybe there wasn't enough Teriyaki sauce on it or it wasalittle overpowered by the meat and not really marinated properly. I expected the food to be so good because I paid more than 40dollars for two orders but I was kind of disappointed cause I wanted to show my mom how great Korean food is. This place never disappoints. The sushi has to be some of, if not, the best around. Price is average compared to other... locations selling sushi. However, the quality and taste is far above the rest. The owner is always super nice and takes thetime to chat when she can. I'm pretty sure we will continue to visit as often as we can. If you have not tried this place youreally should. Read more
This place is a straight up hole on the wall, but the food is fantastic for decent prices. Sushi was fresh, spicy pork and rice... was great and the Rahman was great. Definitely worth a stop Read more
