My daughter and I, stopped to grab a quick breakfast at South Side Jefferson's McDonald's. Dined in for it was almost empty.... Used the Kiosk and waited by the register to pay in cash. The woman in front looked at me once and turned away. 5 mins later shesaid I'll be right with you. Finally when she got me cashed out she was not even paying attention that when handing me my changeshe stopped to talk to an employee then finished dropping my change in hand. We waited 15 more mins in the lobby. Finally I hearthe same lady say "Oh, I didn't know it was ready. I didn't see it was here. She placed it on the pick up window and yells out,Hey! The order is ready! I looked around the number on the table says, it will be brought to you. Still I stood up. I didn'thave my daughter's drink and her Hot cakes order was missing the sausage pattie. I pointed it out to the woman and she grabbedthe tray with an attitude and went to place one in. The tray had no sugar or creamer like I requested on the Kiosk. I asked herfor some, she said. It's in it already. Sure, enough coffee was bitter and black. I asked for a bag to go and she gave me asmall paper bag. Point is, she never apologized for food being late or bring it to our table. Worst place ever. Will not be back. Came in for an early lunch before my next stop. They have the kiosk which I hate. Went to... the counter. LOTS of crew people, totally ignored me. Went out of their way to ignore me. I finally asked do you not evenacknowledge people at the counter? Was told no, use the kiosk. I ordered on the stupid kiosk. The number says "please place onyour table and we'll bring your food to you". Nope. Called my number, I go up and my drink is missing. I asked where I get mydrink. The woman was 2' away and turned her back on me! 2 other women in drive through not 3' away ignored me. I finally steppedthrough the gap and asked several times, where do I get my drink? Finally one of them handed me a small glass, I ordered a largeand apparently this one doesn't have $1 any size. She acted like it was an effort to hand me the right size glass. I was here at11 am, the lobby was empty, dt was not busy. I saw 2 different customers enter and go to the counter and get waited on. I sawothers ignored and walk out, some after like me were told they had to use the kiosk. I saw customers get their orders carriedout to them. Others like me had to pick them up. Very clean and friendly...Food was good and I love the fact that the playground is now on the inside of the restaurant and air... conditioned so when the kids are playing, you can actually sit in the cool air, eat, and make sure the kids are safe instead ofsitting in the sweltering Texas heat. My granddaugher and I had a wonderful time! Only problem I had was I had not been to aMcDonald's in many years and now you order your own food via touch screen when you enter the store. I wasn't familiar withthat so I was naturally slow BUT they did have wonderful assistance so our order was exact. Another plus! Read more
They got our whole order wrong and charged us for a drink that we didn?t even order. We tried to give them the drive thru code... and they wouldn?t take it. When we told them this is not what we ordered they refused to give us the right order. Read more
They have definitely upgraded and it shows! I love the new kiosks, they make the experience more enjoyable without the hassle of... dealing with a cashier. The play area is nice and spacious for the kids to play as well. Clean restrooms too! Only downside isthe soda fountain machine runs slow ???? and there were no high chairs for infants ??????????? This is by far the worst experience I have had at this McDonald?s. The fries were cold when they gave them to me at the drive... thru and if you look at the picture they are all smashed and broken pieces. When I mentioned it at the window the girl juststood there and asked me my they were cold and walked off without saying anything else or offering to replace them. I stayedthere for a while and then just drove off because the line was pretty long and I didn?t want to hold it up. Read more
Been a solid 4 star rating for me for years now but my latest experience will more than likely be my last at this location. Got... a bacon double quarter pounder with cheese. One patty was good but the other was completely pink inside. I like my meat mediumrare but at places that know how to properly prepare food. Found myself cleaning lightly in the kids play area where attention is regularly needed as we all know how easily kids pass... viruses around particularly after making contact with multiple surfaces in repetition in the process of play. Questionablepractices in how mgmt approaches certain issues. On example how do you call a seated customer from across the room to "cash out"from the kiosk transaction they completed to jump in front of the customer beginning their transaction? Then walk off when it'sbeing addressed like piss poor customer service wasn't just presented... Should've been consolation for this at the least anapology and acknowledgement for poor practice. Otherwise my son loves the play area here and wants to go everyday. Read more
