I don't normally put out negative reviews on restaurants but, we went to Mardi Gras Seafood tonight and it was atrocious!!!!!!... Wife and I got 5 lbs of crawfish and 2 pounds of Shrimp to share. Other couple with usgot the same. The food itself was underseasoned, terribly overcooked and just DIRTY!!! Like literally still caked with mud on the bellies. Normally when we do crawfish20-30lbs easy. We didn't even really make a dent in the first order. We told the cashier, and got an "I'm sorry". By the time wegot home 2 out of 4 of us had puked with the rest of us not far behind. Called the manager and he said he'd look into it. Early dinner, 5pm on Friday evening. Super nice wait staff. Clean restaurant. The meal looked and tasted okay, but like regular... home cooking. The corn on the cob was flat, not juicy. God awful. Restaurant smelled musty, tables were sticky, and half the menu is the same fried fish plate because they change the... fish piece count. Out of almost everything on menu, including beer. Ordered a shrimp and steak quesadilla because nothing elseseemed good, shrimp was leathery because it was probably frozen and then cooked. My fish was thin, gumbo had no flavor, & the rice was mushy; drink were $12 for no buzz!

We went to Mardi Gras for our team dinner and there was maybe one other table seated in the restaurant. It took forever to get... our food and when we actually got our food one of the guest in our party was of another ethnicity and was not served his food!!!When we asked, we were told that the was not enough room in the crab boil pot for his food! Needless to say, we all pitched inwith our meals so our friend could eat and we will never come back to this place again. Read more
