I have never had a whole fried dish before but decided to venture out my norm. So glad I did, this fried whole flounder dish did... not disappoint. So flavorful, so most, just ridiculously good. The service was excellent too, as well as the decor. My friendhad a broiled seafood platter and loved it. Beautiful views of the water as well. Read more

Good place for dinner with spectacular view. I loved the crab soup, and a salmon with my salad. Portions are big enough. The only... reason I give 4 starts, prices are higher than on website. I assume the price changes were not updated yet. Read more

The dining experience was great, the food was amazing, and the staff were on top of it with anything needed. A bonus to our... dining were the dolphins we saw swimming next to the dock. Even from inside dining next to the window we had a beautiful view ofthem and it made our day. As well, parking was validated because we dined here so we used the extra time to stroll up and downthe boardwalk and admire all the beautiful scenery. God did an amazing job when he created SC. So pretty! Read more

Beautiful view. We saw dolphins in the water as we ate. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Don't forget to... let them know you parked in the lot, they cancel your payment so it's free! They mark gluten free options on the menu which ishelpful. Read more

Dined at Waters Edge for a birthday dinner with 15 people. Service started out well but overtime food items were missing, water... glasses weren’t refilled, and bread wasn’t brought out until appetizers were already consumed and shortly before receivingentrees. I understand the server may have been overwhelmed dealing with a fairly large party with many requests and also waitingother tables, so it was no big deal and nothing to make a fuss about… the food was just okay. Several items were bland andlacked seasoning and flavor, and the portions did not correlate with menu prices. We paid dinner prices for lunch sized items. When it came time for the cake to be cut, the waitress offered to cut the birthday cake and package them into small to go boxes.Once everyone got their checks, there was a “cake cutting fee”. The restaurant profited $37.50 for CUTTING CAKE. If that isyour policy then that is completely fine, but don’t offer to render a service without notifying the customer first that therewill be a fee for something that is normally a courtesy at other restaurants. If we had known that information, we would’vecut the cake ourselves. 20% gratuity was added to all checks which is also understandable given that we had a large party, butit would be nice if the customer service matched the tip. Overall, I probably wouldn’t go back unless it were to go to the barfor a drink and to enjoy the view which was nice. Read more

We had a reservation for lunch and had a lovely experience! The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and even... the fried items weren't too heavy. You have a wonderful view of Shem Creek and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. Themenu has enough items that our larger party all found something, but wasn't overwhelming. I definitely recommend Waters Edge! Read more

Food was really good. The atmosphere is nice and allows you to sit outside or inside. The prices weren't bad, given it is the... Charleston area. The selection of food is pretty good. There is seafood, chicken, and beef. My wife really enjoyed her seafoodsampler, which had flounder, scallops, shrimp, and mussels. I had the beef tenderloin with demi glaze, and it was amazing. Thebathrooms could use some repairs. Towards the end of the meal, it was starting to get a little warm in the restaurant withlittle relief. The customer service seemed to be good, although our waitress seemed to be the type with a cold shoulder. Parkingwas pretty expensive ($20), but if you ask the hostess, they will validate your parking, making it free. All-in-all, greatrestaurant with great food. We definitely enjoyed our meal and the restaurant. Read more
