Ty’s is on our regular rotation for dinner but this was my first visit for their new lunch bar. I struggled with what to order... because everything looked great. I decided on the chicken sandwich. Despite the size of the chicken the breading was very lite.The young lady that took my order was very helpful and followed up with me ensuring that I was enjoying my meal. This restaurant location has changed hands a few times but Ty's isn't one of the previous restaurants that should be overlooked.... I was pleasantly surprised by the food here. Was thinking it would be comfort food or your usual bar food but I was blown away.... So many options to choose from the small plates option. Had fire roasted meatballs, crispy parmesan grits, and a phenomenalcoal-roasted beet salad. I tried 2 of the 3 bourbon drinks on the menu. Y’all This!!!!! Is my favorite new spot in mount pleasant! Every single thing I’ve ever had here has been absolutely Amazing... fresh, home made and delicious! not photographed is also the beet and goat cheese salad it was absolutely amazing. The serviceis always good and every now and then you even get to interact with TY himself who is always there working away. I thought the food was really good. We came in for dinner on a Saturday night. They were pretty busy definitely understaffed... unfortunately for them. All the appetizers and entrées we had were really good. Glad to see somebody is taken that spot andput some thought into it. It has been many places over the years but I think Tye‘s roadhouse is as good as they’ve had sinceLuna Rosa occupied the building, way back in the day. We will be back thanks for having us! What a great find! Food was excellent and sitting outside was pleasant (even on a busy road). Our waitress was so friendly we... were beginning to wonder if she was for real (but she did seem genuine). Burgers were delicious and juicy. Mussels weredelectable, and the salad was tasty.
